    Hello,
    I'm trying my hand at the She-Ra sword, in your video at 2:21 you cut out the decoration from the sword. Unfortunately, these templates are not on the blueprint. How do I have to do that so that I can cut them out?
    Many thanks and best regards

    • @PretzlCosplay
      @PretzlCosplay  Před 4 lety

      Hihi!
      I see what you mean! The details are drawn on the blueprint, but not separated into layers. Because what you need to cut out will be different if you f.e. choose to use a thinner or thicker PVC pipe, or if you don't want to use one at all. So I didn't include those shapes separately.
      To get these shapes, what you can do is take a piece of paper and put it over the blueprint. then trace the outside of the hilt part. And use that as your pattern for the extra foam layers. 😊
      I hope this helps!

    How much worbla would I need for the sword? Any tips? Or for the other materials?

    • @PretzlCosplay
      @PretzlCosplay  Před 4 lety

      You don't need a whole lot actually. Just make sure your sheet is long enough so you can actualy cover the whole blade. For the handle you also don't need a really big piece. You surely don't need to buy a XL sheet for this sword :3

    • @PretzlCosplay
      @PretzlCosplay  Před 4 lety

      Oh and for the other materials, if you get a small sheet of foam for the base (mostly they are sold as 50x100 cm) that's enough! And just a piece of PVC pipe for the connection. And of course glue to glue the foam. I prefer contact cement above anything else. I hope this helps ^^

    I'm actually disappointed with the new She-Ra. On Launch day I just got threw the first two episodes and had to give up on it.
    I've heard they got better at story telling since, But I dropped the service last December.
