Can i use water instead of milk and less oil. Is the amount of oil necessary for soft chapatti

Yes, you can use water, I find Warm water works better, remember to knead it as soft as you can, but not too runny…. You can reduce the oil or skip it all together if you have a problem with it, as long as the dough is soft they should come out soft.
