i think i finally understand why tekken is so hard
like imagine, you finally get the 100 hours to understand 70% of your character
you then have to learn how your character interacts with every other good character in the game
    but then
    oh no
    whats this
    your opponent is playing PANDA
    you start sweating
thats not akuma, thats not a mishima, thats not dragnov you were even prepared for a geese
you have every meta matchup known
but you get hit with the 300 pounds of pure fluffy terror
    you load into the match
its ok, this character is trash you say
    smirking in confidence
    BAM panda uppercut
    37 dmg
    youre on the ground

These seem like handicaps but to me it's just things you need to be aware of and work out alternatives. Heihachi's strength is pressure so you also don't need to focus on whiff-punishes as much as the other Mishimas. If you can't get a WS 2 punish, maybe you could try like a WS 4 and come up with something while you have the frame advantage, for instance. His d/f+1,2 doesn't give amazing oki but you can still follow it up (and if you're using d/f+1,1 to keep them honest then it's just on you to play smartly with it and not have it ducked).
I play Heihachi better than the other two Mishimas, I think. His strengths feed into how I play Tekken moreso than the other guys. I know he has some holes (bad WS options and weak lows) but what he excels in feel comfortable to me.

Especially if traveling internationally, flights are delayed all the time, should plan to arrive a day earlier. For locals don't plan to arrive as soon as the tournament begins, I try to get to my locals hours in advance and a lot of people are already there waiting for it to begin and warming up. He was designed to be a high pressure character with good mids, punishment and damage, not a 50/50 character. Giving him a low with ridiculous properties like that would ruin his identity.

The frame data for moves like f,f or f,f,f or ff* do not count the frames.
