If you're looking for a bargain car with exceptional performance, impeccable handling, and sweaty dudes asking for a ride in the passenger seat, look no further. The 350Z is a car for real men, particularly those who grew up playing Need for Speed and love the feeling of tyre smoke filling their lungs. It has a good enough power-to-weight ratio to send it with ease. For around 7 grand, you can get the perfect drift car for UK roads, and because of this, there's no shortage of hydraulic handbrake kits for this car. The 350Z still stands strong as a brilliant drift car in 2023. And let's not forget about its tempting posterior.
This 2007 350Z possesses a charismatic 3.5-litre V6 with longer con rods than the original, a wider range of operation for variable valve timing, and equal-length exhaust manifolds. The 2007 model also possesses dual intake manifolds. One thing that Nissan has not changed is the compelling, dependable mechanical growl of the engine throughout the rev range that is so alluring. (Who needs women?)
Unless you’re a hater, the fact that the 350z is quick goes without saying, but it's the visceral element that elevates it to legendary status. The steering is tactile and accurate, with power assistance falling off as the speed rises to increase road feel.
Its appearance in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift saw it fitted with a Veilside body kit, among other modifications, and was driven by the fictional character "Drift King”. Here we see a stock body 2007 model driven by none other than the real-deal “Drift Stig” ‪@DRIFTSTIG‬
It is almost criminal not to send this modern classic around every possible corner, but then again, “Drift Stig” came out of the womb sideways, which explains why straight lines were never his strong suit.
