- This broadcast features a dream team of musicians: Bishop JC White, Professor Alfred White, Prof. Butch Heyward, Pastor Martin Chaplin, Anthony Fischer and Ricky Cooper on drums and percussion. It also features the Williams Sisters, Gospel Expositions and of course the Radio Choir. This was actually a New Years Broadcast in the early 70's, coming live from the Institutional Church of God in Christ.

it's feels so good to hear myself on the Bass and then on Drums we had god in the music,
I was listening to satisfied, and I wanna give a shout out to those choir members and that soprano, when they got to with Jesus alone before they ended, I was up under a pew!!!!!! Them background adlibs get me every time!!
You can always tell when Butch Heyward gets on the organ... But y'all... The bass player on "Satisfied".. UNTOUCHABLE!!!!!! Y'all heard that master at his craft??

That's when I first started to Institutional, in the 70's from Philadelphia, with then Dr. Audrey F. Bronson and The Late Dr. Becky Carlton. I've been a fan every sense. There's none like the Institutional Experience.

This is yet one of my favorite choirs!!! God bless All!!!! They Ministered to me in Berkeley, California in the 70's and in Atlanta, Georgia in the 80's. I had their albums. I am grateful for all you shared to declare the Gospel of our Lord to the U.S, and the World!!! Please Continue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The ministry of Bishop and all that were involved is yet powerfully Anointed!!!!!!!!

I remember years ago when Max Roach and the J C White singers recorded "Lift Every Voice and Sing". My husband and I attended some of their rehearsals. Awesome choir!
We would leave Farrockaway in time to make the broadcast live in Brooklyn on Sunday night,1970-72 I think we went about 3 times when i was singing with the Bethel COGIC OF Farrockaway.
