Le terminal 2D a rouvert récemment ? Il me semblait qu’il devait être en renovation jusqu’à l’été 2024, tout comme les 2A&C ?
C'est le 2A et 2C qui sont désormais fermés pour travaux
Le 2B et 2D sont bien réouvert depuis 2022

What other languages should they be talking? Most non-English airlines speak their own language + English. British airways knows just English.

perhaps BA ought to consider laying on a larger capacity aircraft on this flight, as the PA stated, "a very full flight", especially if this is a regular occurrence, an A321 would be better
