Pacific North West ...... earthquakes almost never happen. You should Crib block it up properly or at least diagonal brace the log butts in two directions, ask me how I know.
It would have taken A LOT of dirt and possibly a retention wall to make the ground level, so using tree posts was a cheaper and quicker way since this is temporary.
While in college, one of my many part-time jobs was helping deliver and set up mobile/modular homes. They were 12/14/16 feet wide and 60 feet long. They weighed 22-28,000 pounds. Sometimes they were on the ground on the front, and 6 or seven feet off the ground on the back side. Believe it or not, we used the exact same method you guys did to level them once we had the axles and tongue off of them. They DID have a tongue jack on the front, which helped during the first hour but after that, it was cribbage, and bottle jacks, just like you guys did it. Good Job!
Just wondering if it might not hurt to put some cribbing on both sides toward the back end, just in case you get some wild winds that could lift that container enough to have it go off the supports? A couple stacks of 6X6 would do the job for ya. Nice job, great storage! Thanks guys!

Love your creativity but one good earth quake and that will come off those post and crush what ever is near by. Use your great welding skills and weld a solid frame to that high end now that you have it leveled.
Since you are new to the NW you may not be aware that we do get earthquakes here. Newport is an active quake zone and residents should plan for the Cascadia Quake which is past due to be the next magnitude 9 Quake. @@PacificPinesRanch www.oregon.gov/OEM/hazardsprep/Pages/Cascadia-Subduction-Zone.aspx
Great Job, i have two 20t jacks too do what you have just done. just a thought i have been informed that older containers like the one you have , that come into Australia have been fogged inside with a chemical called "formaldehyde"
That scary don't stand or walk beside in rainy day it is very dangers! you should level the road it is better but you have to build a wall of big rock to make the road level especially you are in pacific sea to many earthquake to many it happen. I hope your continair on solid big rocks.
I’ll bet u get a lot of grief on this one . I would of leveled the land then placed container . Needs legs welded under for more permanent install . But it’s your project not mine . 45 feet , it looked longer plus the 45 on the container was good indicator . Have a safe one ,and a good one !

And now you have dry storage for wheelbarrows, wagons, lumber, etc. Since you are a millennial, and know everything the difference between side and end is insigfigant, but might be important sometime.

We added some bracing after we got everything set up (I'll show it in a future video).
If you had to do it again, would you have spent more time leveling the ground first?
thats just what i was thinking why oh didnt they level the ground when they were making it flat

Thank you so much!! Glad to hear we weren't far off from what is typically done!
Very deceiving how the camera makes the ground look level. Once again great job guys.👍
Thx so much!! It does it in real life too! It's only when you shoot a laser that you really see how sloped it is.
I was hugely stressed watching that!!!
It was stressful for me too! :)
Glad it all worked out!
Me too!!
Yes, I do remember when the containers were sitting on logs for the longest time. I’d say that’s good for about 7 years, great job you guys!
A little throwback to the past! Thanks so much!!

Thanks so much!! We added some bracing once everything was set up. Thx so much for the recommendation! :)
@@PacificPinesRanch hopefully your bracing includes some diagonal support between the logs so if the ground melt, they dont tilt sideway's ;)
Well done !
Thx so much!!
Very cool! And yes SCARY!
Thank you so much!!
Surely levelling the land in the first place would have been more sensible!!

Reefers are heavy. Glad no one got hurt.
Yes they are! Me too :)
An engineering feat love it I would of done the same
Thank you so much!!
it's not over... the rain will give the answer!
Definitely!!
Wow crazy sketchy, glad it all worked out and is level. I never knew there was 45', almost as long as a semi trailer. Wow. 🎉🎉❤❤
Thanks so much!! Yeah they even come in 53ft for the rail cars.
Great job on getting it done
Thank you!!
That was a nail biting situation 😮.
Yes it was!! :)
My goodness what a painstaking job! Good job and you guys just push on with so so so many difficult projects!
Thank you so much! :)
Great Job on the new container! Fantastic!
Thx so much!!
You guys are so lucky, but you have done it alot.😀😀
Thank you!!
Love your creativity but one good earth quake and that will come off those post and crush what ever is near by. Use your great welding skills and weld a solid frame to that high end now that you have it leveled.
And dig 2' deep holes with cardboard tube forms to set the frame legs on a solid base
Thank you!! We don't really get earthquakes here, and we added some bracing once everything was set up so it's a little sturdier now. :)

Now....don't accidently bump into it when using the mini excavator or any other heavy equipment.
Definitely!! :)
So much fun 🎉
Lol yep!! :)

Just finished watching in my iPad. All I can say is wow you guys have balls….
Lol thank you!!

We worked for years with the containers on level logs with no issues... it should be fine since the logs are level.
Weld a steel H frame to support for movement, its similar to what is used on mobile offices ie containers with diagonal brace too ❤
That's a good idea! For now we will just use the wood since this is temporary but if we need a more permanent set up that's the way to go :)
👍👍👍
Thank you!!

Lol kind of!
Everything looks curvy with your camera.
It's a 360 camera so it does a unique effect

love itttttttt

Hardly scarey , good planning and help eases the process , click bait on your site , dissapointing
It was pretty scary for me
