Def have some more beaches to visit.. Ive been to 5 out of these and siesta key was my fav...I do love Huntington beach and La jolla.
I'm happy you included Canon Beach. I love florida beaches and white sand. But Oregon has a very unique coast line with crisp fresh air.

Just randomly thought I would look up the best beaches in the US, and to my surprise I've been to a lot of these. Clearwater, Canon Beach, Newport, Laguna. Haha they are all great fro different reasons! Though I went to some hidden beach on the Big Island once, I don''t remember the name.. but that was my favorite beach ever!
I got some living to do.
Also Rivera beach in West Palm Beach Florida is a really good family beach.

Jeff, I couldn't agree more about Hapuna Beach. The only drawback to it is that sometimes the waves are borderline too big to swim safely. Since Hapuna is the best beach I have ever been to, let me be the first to push you for the two you think are better than that.
Makalawena and Kua Bay are a few miles down the road from Hapuna and they're much better. IMO, a beach is automatically disqualified from being one of the best if it's in front of a hotel. If you look at all the islands, and this is not an exaggeration, there are probably 80 beaches that are better than the three mentioned in this video. You'll just have a hard time finding them unless someone shows you.
@@HawaiianLion15 Thanks for the tips. I'm not a local but have been to the Big Island several times and like checking out the various beaches for both swimming and snorkeling. Dirt roads and a little hike don't bother me if the reward is a nice beach.
@@charleskra Makalawena is almost impossible to get to unless you have a lifted truck. And even then it still requires a 30 min walk. Kua Bay used to be like that until they paved the road in like 2009. I live on Oahu now, and the best beaches are all on the west side where most people are too afraid to go 😂 The downside to remote beaches is that they don't have showers, so you go home salty and sandy.
Beautiful Fort Lauderdale beach should have been on the list.
Miami Beach, last two times we were there, had too many low lifes around. Turned me off to it.
What part of Miami Beach? South beach is a bunch of low lifes and crazy tourists . Mid and North beach are ALOOOOOT better. Lauderdale beach is also much better which is like 30 minutes north of South Beach

Siesta key has the softest sand I've ever felt, like walking on clouds
Yea siesta beach, is pretty nice I pefer Hawaiian beaches tho since their less slammed and I pefer the water. Clearwater beach is a really pretty one too
Another great thing about Siesta Key is the sand is quartz so it never gets hot! Even in 110 degrees (with humidity) the sand is nice and cool

Thanks for the list! Id have to remove Mission beach from this list now as the area has changed so much I the past 8 years. It no longer feels safe and family friendly, especially the Belmont Park area. Od definitely pick La Jolla, Carlsbad, Encinitas areas now over Mission and Pacific beach areas. 🌊🌊

I was waiting to hear Traverse City Bay or Torch Lake or Crystal Lake All in the Same area in Michigan. The Great North .Chicago's ok but our Aqua blue green clearest water I have ever seen any where and I've seen alot of beaches thee sand is so white it lookslike snow.Go ahead look them up on line. I love Our Northern Michigan beaches better than anywhere else. Honestly Key West Jamaica are about the only beaches that come close .Michigans biggest secret.Alot of people are going to be pissed because we are already overcrowded in the summer.But places like this should be enjoyed by everyone.

The most beautiful beaches in Florida are on the East Coast like Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale Beach, Miami Beach, the waters are so turquoise the Sands are so white, and there's actually waves where the West Coast beaches are stagnant with bacteria like the flesh eating disease.

Biased but Pensacola has the best American beaches and why're the first European settlement by the Spanish..
St. Augustine is there by annoying technicalities like surviving a hurricane.
I live on Oahu, there are FAR better beaches on this island than Waikiki.
Shhhhhhh! To paraphrase the words of Gandalf "Keep it secret. Keep it safe." Or at least that's how I'm going to approach the fact that many beaches I love to go to aren't usually on these "top beaches" lists. I'm not one for crowded beaches either. 😁👍

These beaches were awful 🙄. Puerto Rico beaches are better than these , the waters are clear and not looking dirty like those. The only ones I can save from that list are the ones from Hawaii. Florida beaches are just a waiste of time full of sharks 🤷🏼♂️
The best beaches world wide I think are in Greece, Italy, Thailand and may be Corsica in France. I like to see the USA but I am not sure if it was for the beaches.
