To my ears, Durand Jones & The Indications sound like Leon Bridges singing with the Menahan Street Band, the band who played with Charles Bradley. Amazing album. I think the drummer sings a lot like Durand. Unless you see them it's hard to tell who is singing.

Being born and raised in Detroit, I was raised listening to Motown music, and I appreciate and love this band for the oldies but goodies jams it resembles in today's era of music. I never get tired of Durand Jones & the Indications, such an amazing band.

Having this music come back is so long overdue. Discovering this band is like discovering life on another planet. Lets bring this back! I'm only 36 but I grew up with Motown and all the other oldies... So much better than the audio trash on that's out today.
