As soon as I saw that the Sonic Mania team was making a game with a protagonist called Penny, I dropped everything and went to the SnapCube stream. I wasn't disappointed!
I wish I was a Nintendo Kid growing up so I could be as hyped as everyone else 😂😂. Also, Detective Pikachu having that deep ass voice is the funniest shit I’ve seen in years.
I was mostly a Nintendo kid so I was so excited to see more of Mario (especially Mario RPG) but I feel that most Nintendo games have aged pretty well, so you can always go back and play some of the classics! (I experienced 90% of all the Nintendo I have played through emulation, and all Nintendo emulators are amazing)

1.) I don’t even have an emotional connection to Super Mario RPG and as soon as it popped up I started SCREAMING 2.) I THOUGHT THAT THE ARKHAM SERIES WOULD NEVER BE PORTED AND WHEN IT POPPED UP IN THE DIRECT I STARTED LAUGHING WITH GLEE 3.) can’t wait for Vol. 2 of the MSG series so that Psychomantis can read my Switch SD card and predict that I’m a fan of Splatoon 4.) They probably won't go that far. Probably just reuse the Metroid prime line for the prime remaster and the wind waker line (but cut it off before he mentions wind waker by name) for Tears of the Kingdom
i never played super mario rpg as soon as it appeared i also said noooo fucking way and screamed in excitment cause i know that nintendo fans have despratly wanted a remeake of this for a decade tbh if u think about it thats how impactful this game was to the point where even people who never played it get filled with excitment
16:30 Without any spoilers Arkham Knight has a bunch of references to Origins from having a whole display in GCPD with items from across the games include items from Origins to thugs mentioning events from Origins and you can even wear the Arkham Origins suit as well. You can even see New Gotham where Origins took place beyond the Arkham Knight map (Knight takes place in Mainland Gotham) just to the north of Arkham City. The timeline though is kind of messy as Origins is dated to be like 8 years before Arkham Asylum which to me makes no sense as that's so few years for this Batman to be active. 8 years doesn't seem like enough time for this Batman to have gone through everything you see and hear about in the games. You even hear thugs talk about how Batman was around when they were kids so Origins was a little difficult to fit into the Arkham timeline but I guess they made it work. Personally 15 years sounds about right from Batman's first Christmas sometime in the early 2000s to the events of Arkham Knight around 2015.
I'm glad that Daisy has been getting a lot of love recently, because she seems like a much smarter character, like you look at her and the other main Mario characters, and she seems like she gets really excited about doing recreational algebra, and I fuck with that
Superstar Saga was ported to the gba game selection back in February, so there’s definitely the possibility of other ports at the very least, but there could be new games since they still have the rights to M&L

Very interesting that the Arkham Trilogy doesn't seem to be a cloud version. Arkham Knight is either going to be a great example of how to do a good Switch port or one of the worst ports of all time, no in-between.
I thought Mario RPG was just coming to Switch online service, but then my roommates had to check up on my for my reaction to the remake transition. Also love having a new peach game! I felt like the only one who loved Super Princess Peach when it came out so love the reactions to this!

Mario wonder is so awesome being excatly what I wanted and more, the fun wacky expressive thick lineart style converted to 3D with so many calls to stuff like the 64 renders. Then you add in so many different mechanics and characters and animations I love when video games look fun and pretty as hell
Daisy being in an actual proper Mario game is such a big deal to me. The last time she was, was literally her debut game I believe. The only other games she's appeared in were spinoff titles

Fun Fact: Dragon Quest did the Monster-capturing thing BEFORE Pokemon was a thing. DQ5 had it as a sub-system in the game for beefing out your party.
