Here we are with our fashionably late holiday special! I hope you guys are excited for this video, this has been such a fun video to make. Hi everyone! Firstly, I'd just like to say that the support for 13th Van has been so overwhelming. Thank you all so much for the kind words. This was such a fun video to make, and I'm so happy you all enjoyed! I'm particularly happy that you guys enjoyed the music, that was so fun. I've released it here for you guys to listen to!

I love the fact that every horror-related episode before this (even including Richard's Midnight Runners to an exact) had the main threat be some sort of scrapped steam engine, until now where it's just... VAN

The engine in all eyes on Dennis was terrifying. There's something about a silent dark faceless presence with ominous music that chills the spine.

I like how the van is kept in the shadows as to show that theres something going on that others can't see. Other versions made the van unsettling but this version was just downright horrifying as usual.
Anyone else watched this in the dark? Love a number of the visual effects in this and that mashup of Fergus's theme and the FNAF song by the living tombstone. The Van's sinister smile, both regular and demon like definitely looked creepy. Sort of gave me Joker vibes.

I love the Demonic twist you gave the thirteenth van! I love even more how brave Fergus was in front of it. It takes a lot of nerve to treat such an entity as more of a nuisance than what it really is.
And that's why he could earn a Green Lantern Ring. (trust me, the ring would find _some_ place to put itself)

Good lord, one of the best TTTE horror story adaptations to date I think. I love how a new model for the van was created and how creepy its normal face is, let alone how terrifying the alternative one is. I actually jumped slightly when the van lurched forward and shoved Fergus down the hill.
Also, I love that TTTE remix of the FNAF 1 song from The Living Tombstone at the credit roll.
It should also go without saying that the narrator was bloomin’ brilliant, to me, they hit every line perfectly.
We can only but hope the 13th Van never finds... DUDLEY! the very idea of THAT Pair Working Together.... SHUDDERS!
Maybe not. One would have something of an end goal in mind while the other would be causing general chaos.
@@eggmannega6895 True, the 13th Van cares only for Chaos, he is very much the Joker of the Thomas Fanverse, Dudley, being Driven by Revenge and out to Destroy all those who "wronged" (in his Insane imagination) him is Perhaps Closer to Clayface.
Both however are Demon Possessed and in Urgent need of Exorcising by the Thin Clergyman before they team up!!

I forgot they teamed up once in the Justice League Animated Series! good point! they did make a pretty Terrifying Alliance, the Cold, Calculating, Purpose Drive Luthor and the "Chaos for the sheer heck of it" Mistah J (Proper Mark Hamill Version too!)...shudders, Good analogue for Dudley and the 13th Van as well!
The enormous sinister smile, the psychopathic laughter, the sheer spine chilling terror it radiated..... no one can convince me otherwise that wasn't The Joker reincarnated. Absolutely fantastic work!!!. Easily the darkest portrayal of The 13th Van yet, and it didn't disappoint. 10/10 🔥👏

Another unsettling story graduated to bona fide horror through nothing but top-notch editing and narration. That subversion at the end with Gordon’s lights and then the actual van’s jumpscare was brilliant. Well done!

While a month behind Halloween, this adaptation's certainly a welcome treat.
Love the extra intro by Fergus. Jake is a master of improv, ad-libbing, etc. Great to have him doing narrations for your videos again, Carson. 👍

I like how this adaptation made the van way more scary than the other ones I’ve seen. The other ones were definitely more creepy but this one is just flat out scady

Another great video Carson! Out of all the adaptations I've seen of the story yours has to be the most scariest. Also I love that Marklin was the engine that had a derailment with the 13th van, despite the fact he would become a specter himself. Also I was very surprised that you have Jake narrating this story instead of david. Not sure if this is a permanent change but I welcome it nonetheless but frankly it's awesome to hear his voice again. Keep up the good work man!

Honestly, a bit shorter than I was expecting… BUT, I welcome any great story with Fergus in it, even a spooky one! Also, the music choices in this were so excellent!

Dude the way that van just changed it’s face and gave that jumpscare seriously caught me off guard and practically made my spine almost pop out from fright. The ending was also something I wasn’t expecting either. Once again Carson you really excelled at storytelling and visual effects that can really scare the ever living crap out of us. Nice job dude. This story was way scarier than the demons episode that you released long ago.
That jump scare is fantastically done! At 5:43 I was like “oh well, it’s not really that scary” then BAM! at 5:52 gives me a goosebumps.

Showed this to my sister yesterday. She actually chuckled at the van itself, and instantly recognized the Thomas-fied FNAF music. She's a horror fan, nothing scares her.

That sickening smirk was truly unsettling, the maniacal laughter in the background gave me some Dark Knight Jokes vibes.
This is one of the most unnerving Thomas stories ive ever watched. The lighting, music, everything. The facial expressions on the van are perfect. Making it creepier is how this is from Fergus's perspective, as his eye level is similar to that of a normal person. It makes it feel like you are there, looking up at the van. The jumpscare at 5:42 was unexpected and actually got me. I actually felt dread when Gordon's headlights approched at 9:09, not to mention the jump at the end.

Nice adaption as usual, and with the visials... but holy cow, that face from the Van was an unexpected surprise. I actually got flashbacks of The Blue Snowplow's horror mini series for a moment there

The scare factor of this adaptation felt like something Shunter Productions would make. That van felt like it was every psychotic version of The Joker rolled into a single piece of rolling stock. Glad I watched this during the day, I'd never be able to sleep if I watched it before bed

After watching “the amazing digital circus” the 13th vans face at 5:42 looks like Jax’s arrogant and sarcastic smug grin he gives of multiple times in the episode
God the face of the Van is disgusting the way it’s smirks and then the sudden horror jump scare, that it’s absolutely terrifying. I thought the engine in Demons look was scary but that van is terrifying. Absolutely well done Carson’s video workshop.
I think I’ll take my chances with the engine in Demons than the 13th Van.

EDIT: I just realized the 13th Van says "Fergus" three times in the climax, first at 5:30, second at 5:45, and third at 5:56. Right before he faces him, while he's face to face with Fergus and while he's pushing him down the hill.
Kind of reminds me how in some horror productions you have to say a spirit's name three times to summon it, while this time it's the spirit calling out the name of its prey.
The Fnaf theme at the beginning got me. Also I loved to hear Knapford Harbor back as the narrator!
How is nobody talking about that scene with the marklin and the derail animation? Was that also in trainz I am so amazed at how detailed the derailment was like how it was jumping like it was reacting to the sleepers in the rails, looked like a scene from the classic series.
Well done. Also, I totally wasn't expecting the face to turn into whatever the hell THAT was. Though I must say, this was far less scary than the engine one with one eye. That one was far more tense.

Scariest adaption of this story I have seen! Normally, I avoid watching these things late at night but it was fine when you uploaded it on Friday because I was going to bed right after anyway, thank goodness! The scene where Fergus spies the van inside the shed, that look was pure evil.
