You made this look easy, ME, but for mere mortals like myself this was a tough event. I must’ve ran 5.2 at least 30 or 40 times, and I finally gave up and fully upgraded Suspension. It cost me another 190 gold and half a million R$, but it gave me what I needed. What I don’t do as well as you do is optimize corners, and with a slippery car like this one I lose a ton of time in the chicanes and corners. But - and I’m proud of this - I ran the entire event with no assists and Sensitivity 3! After a couple of years holding on to Low Steering like a security blanket, I think I’ve finally kicked it. Thanks for the inspiration; I couldn’t have done it without you! 👍
That’s great Larry! I’m surprised that you’re already down to sensitivity 3. It took me a couple of years to get there after I went to no assists. That’s already giving you pretty good control in the corners. Congratulations, it’s quite an accomplishment! A lot of people had trouble with that particular stage and a lot of people bought way more upgrades than you did. What you did wasn’t wasted because you’ll need even more to finish the Series that this car appears in. The corners will become better and better as you race more and more. There’s a lot of trial and error to go through. However I think no assist driving is the best experience in this game. It’s the closest the majority of us will get to driving these incredibly expensive cars.

I must have skipped 5.2 when this car was new. anyways I've come a long way since then, and my setup is completely different. Almost gave up after many attempts until I watched this, gave it another 3 shots, and got 1st place. Only until recently, I have switched off the brake assists and regret not starting the game with it off. Found a new strong interest in the game and enjoyment I had not experienced before 😅
Monza is the cathedral of speed for f1 cars, for cars like these that have insane top speed but so less grip and stupid brakes its the cathedral of braking 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤣
Me7...did you notice that on the porsche curves at le mans...there are are barrier changes...and i got the 919 evo from the LTS...i am super duper happy 😊...it made me super poor...i had 1518 gold before starting and now 42😱😱😤...tho i liked the car ALOT...i upgraded with r$ and then skipped it with gold in frustration like seeing millions of ads and yet not able to do the first stage upgrades...no cars for me for the next two ✌ updates i think😤😤😭😭...and the divo is like the other bugatti's they have horrible brakes but this one has got pretty good amount of downforce grip
Yes, I noticed those Le Mans changes. Actually knew about them in advance but it was not allowed to say anything. I also find the Divo a little bit better than those other Bugatti’s.
I had no issues with any stages. My trouble was trying to win 5.2 which was not a requirement. I checked the gamechanger chat area and a couple of people found it difficult but they enjoyed the challenge. The gamechanger crew has a variety of skill. Did you try it at upgrades 3333333? You have to have that to finish the event.
@@ME7_RR3 I was at all 3's and did eventually pass it (2.5 hours of trying). For me the first two laps I was able to meet the average speed no problem. Last lap, nope. I would drop down to around 1mph under average speed and it just would not get back to average speed on lap 3. I tried so many times that I had it down to finishing 2nd but still consistently unable to meet the minimum speed on lap 3.
Interesting, ME, that you had no trouble with average speed in 5.2, but couldn’t win the race. I’m just the opposite... I can win the race, but I can’t make the average speed. I’ve finished 1st four or five times now, but missed average speed by about 1 MPH. I’ve run it so many times that I’m mentally exhausted; I’m gonna give up for tonight and try it again tomorrow. Man, I hate those damned average speed races. When you’re a mediocre driver like I am, they’re just no fun at all...
@@larrybeavens7580 I think the issue appears if you drop below the required average speed by >1 mph during the last lap. Getting it up again seems to be the issue... If you are already above it, then you won't encounter the problem.. As ME7 didn't.
thus stage can't be passed, if you use the breaking assist. My mode for all this stages: steering pedals "A", both steering and drifting assists on, breaking assist off. then it works. Breaking points: next to last utily pole on the left - 200m plate on the right - a little bit breaking before turning into both lesmos - add the half distance between the tunnel and the following red banner onto the end of the tunnel - the second distanceplate on the left before entering the parabolica, wait until the car has shifted down twice, the accelerate again
Hey mate, Since Event Archives are going away, I was thinking of getting every car I could from it. Which do you think is better - McLaren MP4-X or the Porsche 919 Evo ? As in, which do you feel is the more fun and engaging car to drive. Also, does the MP4-X gain on the 919 Evo in the low and medium speed corners as well, or just in the straights and high speed corners? Thanks
I haven’t driven both so don’t know how much fun they give but: MP4-X is cheaper to win (720 gold vs 1155). MP4-X is generally faster. MP4-X is almost half the price to fully upgrade. A few races in the MP4-X exclusive pay much better than average.
@@madhavisingh9046 If you are willing, you can sacrifice 110 gold level 3 body for 1.9 Million R$ level 7 engine( this has not been tested by me. I suggest doing a cloud save-restore for checking but I am 80% sure.). Edit: I am 💯% sure as I now remember the approximation changes in update 8. Something which increased PR of some cars including MP4-X by 0.1
Hey ME7, nice work! Regarding overtaking the pack as soon as possible in cup races, did you notice that this is always best? Usually the top bots will escape from you if you don't pass them by lap 2, may not be able to catch up, whereas if you pass them rapidly, they lag behind like they've somehow given up the fight :)
It is kind of strange. I’m not sure if we’re just not driving as hard because the bots are in our way or if they are actually slowing down. However it is noticeable. Sometimes it’s hard to overtake a bot and then he ends up being way far behind you.
I won the 5.2 race after several tries of making the challenge. I did it not trying to win. Just making it. It was a perfect race. Wished l could upload it here.

No. You can drive off track as much as you want and it doesn’t do anything to the car. Front end damage will hurt very quickly. You can take quite a lot of side damage before it hurts you. It also depends on the car. Some cars can take a lot of abuse while other cars reach max damage with just a minor hit. However with all cars you cannot get damaged unless you have a collision of some sort.
Race number 3, ME7 is making clean laps and making his way to the podium! He figures out that F5 (s) can be useful as they give you a push and help with your acceleration! Don't you love when the AI helps you???
wow, I've been trying to pass 5.2 for a few days now, I upgraded to all 3's and struggling to match your breaking points to keep the average speed up. I have just enough gold to skip 5.2 but not enough to skip any others. I want to earn this car but not sure I'm going to have enough time to pass the final few stages before it closes.

That is what he is known as. It’s a role that he likes and he plays it up a bit. He’s certainly not the worst there has ever been. He was also a lot worse a few years ago. If he got mad he would totally take someone out. He has mellowed out a lot and is a very good racer. Several years ago his season started with a horrible accident. He broke bones in both of his legs. However he still got back in the car after a few races. They gave him an almost impossible challenge to meet in order to qualify for the championship. Not only did he qualify, he won the championship that year. It’s pretty rare to see an athlete fight that hard to be number one. I had a lot of respect for him after that year.

It is possible to get P1 in 5.2. I was within 1 second of leader by the end and I was ahead of the purple Jota at the section where you are behind at 3:39. Ups: 2332333 7:17 , Yeah, that’s the worst part. To see defeat in front of you.

I do not like the bugatti divo because it is not that fast. I prefer the hennessey venom gt, hennessey venom f5, and the mclaren mp4-x. they are more fun to drive

I remember races like that, 2+ hours stuck. Sorry man, that’s rough! On the plus side, you probably got faster at this track going forward.

After race 1, he finished with a time of 2:21.481 seconds! Not at all shabby for ME7!
And with some of these tricky turns, he is drifting all over the place! He must think he is driving a Drift Car!

919 evo is more fun to drive than mp4-x.

I just did 5.4 as I was low on R$. I thought that it was a hard one so I pushed hard. Won it with 10.6 seconds remaining on the timer.
They should add you as a bot in this game all people with the master and elite stage should face your bot

5.1 with low brake was tough but I did it, after about 50 tries.
Very hard to get the Divo, you have no chance if you try with low brake assist and steering help on.
After is poor oversteer problem, he hit another car that completely baited him and that made him lose. A little time in his lap!!!
After this long race number 2, he finished in 2nd as 1st place was simply to hard
braking at the exit of the corners is like brake checking a fully loaded semi at 90mph irl, 'kin stupid...
