Southeast Oklahoma's pretty tough but it's also very beautiful, I shot a 130 in 11 point at the bottom of a creek draw, 9 tenths of a mile back up the mountain it's how far I had to bring that buck to get in back to my truck, congratulations on yours, I got mine at Atoka PHA
I'm just getting into bowhunting and this brought tears to my eyes. I've been missing out my entire life. So much to learn and appreciate now, big task but this brings confidence to me in this state. Thanks for sharing your experience 🙏🏾

Great video! More public hunts please it’s hard too relate with the hunting shows that hunt off giant leases and farms I’ve had all my leases taken from me by others , also be careful wear some blaze orange while walking around on public land especially close to muzzle loader season.

Super cool video and a great buck. I'm from Georgia and great friend of mine moved to heavener Oklahoma a few years back and this past year my dad and me drove out there and hunted the last week of gun season on weister WMA and spring mountain which is all on the east side of Oklahoma. Saw some deer and couple nice bucks but just never got a shot. Fun to watch someone hunting public land in a state that I don't live in and I can say I've hunted public land in the same state. Of course we didn't have the success like you but it was more about just hanging out and hunting with a great friend. The deer came second on our trip but still had a great time. Oklahoma is awesome and got to see America's tallest hill. Great hunt and fun to watch

@@HUNTERSADVANTAGE I certainly hope so. Dad's health at 71 isn't the best right now but we are still planning another hunt out there with my good friend. Hopefully we can make it happen definitely a different experience hunting public land there compared to hunting public land here in GA. Now that I've found your channel looking forward to seeing some more of your videos
@@timothyhowell7047 what’s the main differences in GA & OK land? We’ve got a lot of Oklahoma and Kansas hunting planned for this fall!
@@HUNTERSADVANTAGE the main difference for us where we hunt it's a lot of super thick planted pines and briars and rolling hills. No crop fields and not a lot of hardwoods. South GA is different with crop fields and flat land but I hunt middle GA. Where we were in Oklahoma it was a lot of pasture land and big hills and hardwoods.

Yes, scored right at 120”. His eye guards were only 1” a piece lol.

They did pass through.
