  • Cressi Digi 2 has arrived, New Dive Gear 2020 Available Now ! A digital Pressure/Depth/Timer with extra cool new features !
    Here: www.divers-sup...
    This is a digital version of the traditional analog Pressure and Depth gauge we had around for eons. This unit is so easy to see and has a self-test mode that runs every time you activate it.
    It also gives you Max depth, dive time and water temp. PLUS it gives you an estimated remaining dive time based on your recent air useage.
    This is a recreational unit not designed for tech diving with a 50mt. depth rating, 300 bar / 4300+/- pressure rating. No back light.

    You don't have to worry about using the cressi digi 2 in extreme cold water, the range of application suffices from minus 20 to plus 50 C°. I've used it at the silfra crack at +1C° without any problems.
    Cheers

      Thanks Notechis for the cold water comments. Any battery power reduction from those temps ?

      No worries ure welcome and yes, had a battery reduction of approx 10% in Silfra, that was really fu... cold 😉 but same with the diving comp suunto D5.

    Great video. Bought one of these this summer and am very happy with it. It’s quite easy to loose the cover however :-( (they are available as separate items thankfully)

      Thanks Tylaar, I too bought one when they came out. You're so right about the cover, you've got to be extra careful not to miss place it. I put mine in my mask box when not on the unit. Regards and thanks for the note. Bob C

    Great stuff again, thank you for the fantastic video.
    I assume the hose comes with the unit, correct?
    Thanks

    do you recall the AQUALUNG EPG i think it came out 20 yrs ago and it did the same exact thing but it was round and replaced the pressure gauge

    So if I understand correctly this really isn't a dive computer, but a pressure gauge, depth gauge, air remaining (dive time) ?

      @EdgeHogDiveGear Před 4 lety +1

      That’s correct Mike, not a dive computer but a Pressure and Depth gauge plus dive timer, temp gauge and air timer.

    Thanks for this great video. How are you liking it 2 years in? Also how long is the hose that comes with the unit?

      It's good, and has a 31.5" hose, kinda nice the extra features and how easy it is to read with digital numbers vs a gauge dial. Regards Bob C

    How easy is it for aging eyes to read the Digi 2 underwater? I'm surprised that there's no backlight feature.

      I dove the Digi 2 this past Saturday and don't have young eyes. As you see in the vids I wear glasses but don't have a strong prescription.
      No problems with it's large numbers...

    Hi I am verry interested in this digi cressi 2...but if it is possibile to make a real test conecting the digi cressi 2 with another press gauge to the same cilinder, in that way we could see how is working and if the digi make the same work that the other press gauge did. please do it for we all.Thanks a lot and dive safe and happy. giani

      What an excellent suggestion PX, I like it alot ! I'll have to buy another one as I gave mine to a friend that needed a gauge and could not afford to buy one.
      Again thanks for the excellent idea. See you folks come up with good stuff for the channel. Bob C

    I really want to pair the Digi 2 with the Neon or the Michelangelo. what one do you suggest?

    • @DiversSupplyYT
      @DiversSupplyYT  Před 4 lety

      Either choice would be fine, mainly it depends on what you want to wear LARGE or small sized unit. The Mic offers dual gas interchangeable gases while diving.
      As a recreational diver you are not likely to need that feature.
      Personally I'd go Neon.

    How do u change the from bar to psi and the temp from c to f

    • @DiversSupplyYT
      @DiversSupplyYT  Před 3 lety

      I apologize for not getting to this quicker.. Here's how you change units M/Imp... There's the rectangle cover for the face of the D2. It has a small magnet on it.
      Looking at the face of the D2 place the magnet at the lower right corner of the screen (5 o'clock).
      Each time you move it to that point the D2 will change M to Imp or back.
