This is so cool being a disabled man seeing stuff like this is so cool i like that the wheelchair ramp is in the inside of the van not under the van make way more sense to me as well plus having a straight across transfer to the driver Seat that is so cool as well makes it a lot easier on our bodies this way as well.
I really like the way you have your van setup. I’ve been looking at the Winnebago Roam (also built on the Ram ProMaster platform), but I don’t like the cost and I really don’t like the UVL mounted under the van. They aren’t that much more than what I paid for my BraunAbility power foldout ramp minivan. I really like the bathroom and kitchen being in the van, and being able to spend the night at a campsite rather than a hotel. I live smack dab in the middle of nowhere and I don’t fly, so I tend to drive a lot. Most of my medical appointments are a 200 to 250 mile round trip. I put over 10k miles on my current van in 6 months. The other downside to the UVL that I’ve been told is you have to put it down on a fairly flat/level surface, which isn’t always available where I live. Have you seen or used the SuperArm Wheelchair Lift? I’m looking at getting a full size van for my next vehicle and am looking at the SuperArm Lift.
You did your homework. Very hard to find a promaster or transit that is designed for the disabled person to be the driver with room for passengers. I have been looking for over a year now and my ideas were almost identical to yours but every dealer told me it could not be done. You truly designed a van that should be sold as you designed it. Is there a way to reach you as i would appreciate your insight as i try to have a similar van built.

possibly. It looks like the inner threshold goes way into the vehicle when the lift is at floor level, like a large chair wouldn't clear the threshold?@@neemafastcat
