Rad episode. Living overseas here in NorthEast “Isaan” Thailand, traditional village mode going. Durable locals doing same stuff for hundreds of years. It works.

I made my own lumber doing a technique called Free Hand Milling. Snap a chalk line on a log and draw over that line going deeper each time and you have boards. CZcams free hand milling

Real complacency.. Coughing for someone's body "respect".
Real Victimization.. Being offended by someone's legs/arms, fingers and toes.
We all need to start talking about what we all do but have never been taught, nor discussed. This red/blue 1/2 fingers and toes... right foot forward verses left foot. We have thousands of different languages; thousands of different religions with hundreds of different versions of within the same religion(s).. yet we all somehow agreed that the right = odd and the left = even This is the best control tactic that the world has ever seen. It is actually amazing. Kids don't ask questions and are taught to "just do it". (which has enormous consequences) People force their opinions and demands with no chance of an open conversation.
