      @@joshuadelisle It would have been interesting to listen to him explain the Exodus fallacy away. If that is not true, then everything that follows is false too. Rather like the founding lie of Islam concerning Gabriel, when Gabriel was shown to be a fictitious character, it destroyes Islam. After all how could Jibril جبريل (Gabriel) re-reveale the Quran to Mohammed, show him heaven and hell, and tell the ‘Virgin’ Mary that she would give birth to Jesus when The Book of Daniel, in which Gabriel first appeared, has been shown conclusively to be a forgery!!

      @@venenareligioest410 what problem do you have with The Exodus? They found the chariots at the bottom of the sea, a series of volcanic events that coincide with the 10 plagues of Egypt (which also represented each fake god of the egyptions) and there is mention of the Hebrews in the desert on an ancient stone writing from the local region (the merneptah stele). The Quran does have errors and came 632 years after Christ whilst the earliest preserved manuscripts of the accounts of Jesus are close to 50 years after Christ, the Quran as I understand it had many iterations that were contradicting, later they had a universally agreed copy written.

      BY THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
      Published 8:56 PM BST, March 6, 2018
      “Archaeologists did not unearth the bones of Egyptian soldiers, weapons and chariots to prove the biblical account of the parting of the Red Sea, despite the false claims of many stories reporting otherwise. The story first published by a satire site, World News Daily Report, and then picked up by many other outlets, claimed scientists led by Professor Abdel Muhammad Gader of Cairo University found the bones, and chariots, in the Gulf of Suez. The university says in an email to The Associated Press that it has no professor by that name and it hasn’t been involved in any excavations there.
      The original version of the story included a photo of divers holding a skull. It was taken from a 2014 National Geographic article about an ancient skeleton discovered in a flooded Mexican cave.

    There's nothing wrong with your Ali welds. Good job 👍
    With Ali I often find you need to create that shiny molten pool on both surfaces separately, before you can connect those molten pools together. Kind of like tinning connections whilst soldering. Then you can melt the two pools together and drag/push that pool along the weld seam.
    If you're struggling to get that pool then you likely need more AC bias or more amps. With that joint you had a super thin sliver from one pipe, and a solid face from the bigger one. So the bigger one will need WAY more amps before you melt it, so you get a molten pool on the big pipe first, near to where you want your tack but far enough away that you don't blow through the thin tip of the smaller pipe, then push/pull that pool up against the joint and they'll flow together... or start where the material are more similar thickness.
    Or it could be Ali with too much zinc in it. I've had that happen with cheap ebay Ali. Leaves a white film around your welds some times. Doesn't look like that from what I can see. Looks more like a mismatch in material thickness.

    • @joshuadelisle
      @joshuadelisle  Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@Leo99929 thank you that's great advice. I really struggled tacking the two thicknesses together without blowing through the thin pipe and I should have ground back my tack before welding over them. Getting in comfortable positions to do longer welds on pipe joints will definitely need practicing too. Cheers J

    If you are up for a challenge and a bit bored 😂 it is possible in a limited degree to weld aluminium with just DC TIG but reverse the polarity ie connect the TIG hand piece to DC +
    It won’t be a lot of fun, it’s difficult to get the arc to where you want it and the heat will be very limited and you probably want to use a zirconiated electrode, definitely not something you even think about if you have an AC machine available but in a pinch on light material it can be done but it won’t be pretty and if it’s too heavy probably won’t be possible at all

The gullible used to believe in many gods, now it’s one, we are getting nearer the true figure all the time. Try and contemplate the appalling misery that Christianity/Roman Catholic Church has caused over the past 2,000 years and it still continues to this day in 2024!
      In 2000 Pope John Paul II begged God’s (not mankind’s) forgiveness for sins committed or condoned by Roman Catholics over the last 2,000 years. Amongst the 94 counts were included, the churches part in the African slave trade, the recognition that Galileu was correct, violence and torture used during the counter reformation, the RCC silence and inactivity during the Holocaust, actively helping Nazis escape Europe, the crusades, the inquisitions, sexism, racism, misogyny, homophobia, hatred of Jews and violence ‘in defence of the Catholic faith’!!
      He recognised the victims of Catholic hostility, prejudice and indifference! These victims included heretics, atheists, Protestants, Jews and other non-Christians, immigrants, ethnic minorities, women, abused children and the unborn!!! Pope Francis also asked for forgiveness for the Catholic church’s role in the 1994 Rwandan genocide, in which 800,000 people were slaughtered in 100 days of violence, the genocide was partially instigated and encouraged by Bishops of the Roman Catholic Church!!!
      These victims total countless millions, and their obscene abuse of helpless children continues to this day!!!

      @venenareligioest410 Před 2 měsíci

      @@joshuadelisle Josh. I appreciate your point of view but please consider this, we all die but nobody ‘perishes’ in the religious sense. The concept of Heaven and Hell does NOT appear anywhere in the Old Testament! It was NOT revealed by god, it was NOT talked about by Abraham, Moses and the patriarchs. Even more striking is that NOWHERE in the teachings of Jesus did he mention heaven or hell! As a first century apocalyptic orthodox Jew Jesus did NOT teach that after death your body dies but your ‘soul’ goes to another place as a reward or punishment!
      Ecclesiastes 9:5-6.
      5 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward,and even their name is forgotten.
      6 Their love, their hate and their jealousy have long since vanished; never again will they have a part in anything that happens under the sun.
      Psalms 6:5.
      “There is no remembrance of thee - They who are dead do not remember thee or think of thee”.
      The "grounds" of this appeal is, that it was regarded by the psalmist as a "desirable" thing to remember God and to praise him, and that this could not be done by one who was dead! He prayed, therefore, that God would spare his life, and restore him to health, that he might praise him in the land of the living.
      A sentiment similar to this occurs in Psalm 30:9, "What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?"
      So also Psalm 88:11, "Shall thy loving-kindness be declared in the grave? or thy faithfulness in destruction?"
      Isaiah 38:18, in the language of Hezekiah, "The grave cannot praise thee; death cannot celebrate thee; they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth."

Religion caused more death than literally everything else combined, and it continues to claim it's victims today by the radical religious groups and in the form of science denial (people refusing to accept emergency or preventive medical treatment).
      The only people saved by religion were the ones who would've died if a bible wouldn't stop a literal bullet, even those were coincidental as any other book would've done the same. Knowing this is like knowing the cure to cancer and it would be very wrong to keep it to myself when there are many (everyone) that need this cure if it's true. Unfortunately the lens many people look through makes it look like a man made fairy tale used for control and corruption which I agree 99% of religion is including Christianity. However if that 1% is true meaning God is real then it's worth everything to find out exactly how that is and how to distinguish the truth through the lies. I'm not planning on Bible bashing but if people are curious what makes me tick and what may work for them also then I believe it's important for me to make that information common knowledge for others to see and not to keep it a secret.
