- Florida pop-punk quartet New Found Glory are ten albums deep into a legendary career, helping define the soundtrack of the 2000s and 2010s with their uptempo jams. The band recently joined us for a Soundcheck session, talking about their storied careers, sharing insight into their songwriting process and performing a few of their tracks in an all-acoustic set, including songs from their classic 2002 album Sticks and Stones. Jordan absolutely smoked never give up and Cyrus really adds a lot on guitar last few years it’s been impressive to see him jump in on the acoustic.
Sticks and Stones is such a killer album, and it also brings back so many fond (and sad) memories from my youth. It's really cool to hear your sides of the story as well, I'd love to hear even more in-depth information about every song.
Man, I hope these guys are realize how important they were to people who are teenagers and growing up in the era of sticks and stones and hit or miss etc they got me through life man girls relationships. They're so important to my childhood

I was born in Coral Springs Florida and in high school New Found Glory just got their start and I fell in love with them. It wasn't until my thirties that I found out my favorite band was from the same town I was. I love New Found Glory

Love these acoustic sessions. These really let the songs shine and allow the vocals to come through in ways that other shows don't allow for because of the location, crowd size and the sound/mix setup.
I must have listened to this record, thousands of times since its release. But, "I've been waiting for a good day, I've been holding back long enough, I've been hurting to tell you some things", hit different acoustic.

One of the first concerts i ever went to was Good Charlotte, NFG opening for Fenix TX. In a club that maybe had 300 people. Crazy. I wore out that sticks and stones CD when it came out a few years later. Still hits me in the feels with nostalgia every time I hear it.
Fenix TX was such a great band! I still play Purple Reign in Blood at least once a year.
The day this album came out I got the bus into town after school to get it! Must've been 14 or 15. This album is a classic! Still listen to it to this day!

My dream finally came true
I've gone on a deep and extensive musical journey since first discovering this absolute classic. But I remember the first few albums I ever listened to, Sticks and Stones, So Long, Astoria by The Ataris, Aerosmiths Greatest Hits and Oasis Whats the Story Morning Glory. Great company. Skateboarding, playstation and music channels when youd wait for your favourite video to come on. Those teenage years really are magical. Almost brings a tear the eye haha

New Found Glory is the first "head" on the Mt. Rushmore of Pop Punk music. They've been consistently great for nearly 30 years (and running). Uniquely standing out in a genre where everyone else had middling periods or just abandoned the sound.

In the early 2000s I walked into a CDS store and walked out of there with this album! I already knew NFG by the cover band but with this album I was applied to pop punk in a genuine way! Leave the store jumping on the sidewalk and singing the lyrics all wrong haha
