France is a lovely place to visit ,we've been many times to Normandy and Brittany ,very laid back .I was told years ago if you attempt to talk to them in French even if it's like the policeman from Alo Alo they will be more helpful .It is surprising how very much different it is in France to England . Also surprising how lots of people have never been to France considering how close it is .
Well Mark gave it a go… yes we are so cross we have come to France purely because of a cancelled ferry ticket from 2020. But what a lesson learnt for the future we will definitely be back again x
Thanks for opening my eyes to an area of France that I haven't known about and never considered visiting - will now have an addition to the very long bucket-list. Enjoy your first car-camping foreign holiday, looks like it is going to be a lot of fun and hopefully the sun comes out.
It was an area too we’d never thought about before funny how events can change things and it’s turning out to be a fabulous experience it’s opened our eyes to Europe and city adventures …as I say we just run to the sun but that may change now …just need to get a camper and take a year off 😀 xx

I really hope it’s coming across on how great it is here on the vlogs… we are really enjoying visiting these lovely places the campsite the cathedrals and yesterday Dday beaches totally loved the experience. We will def be back and touring more of Europe x

Hi again you two, it's lovely to see Hornfleur in October. In 2022 we spent 8 wks in the spring/summer touring around France and stayed a wk near Hornfleur. We loved the beautiful buildings and narrow cobbled streets containing a variety of shops and restaurants. Just after 12 o'clock the seafood restaurants around the harbour would be packed out. The Hotel de Ville in Hornfleur is the Town Hall & Mayor's office and the people nearby were shelling oysters lol. Earlier this year we went to France for 10wks and stayed 1wk just outside Deauville which we recomend if you have time. Dinan is another beautiful place we loved and as in all the villages in France full of character. Have a great time, oh, and maybe try the rotasiary chicken cooked at the markets in France they're bloody delicious! xx
Fantastic info it really is stunning so much to do here we just don’t have enough time but we will be back we were blown away by Bayeux vlog coming up. I’m sat here we can see and hear the cathedral bells .. no words well yes enchanting x
We’re rubbish at languages… a disgrace although find it easier to get round Spanish…it’s quite an experience going and trying to learn about France as not really been feel like the new kid on the block… what we love is it’s quiet now x
What a cracking vlog. I loved this! I loved seeing all the buildings. I film in churches all the time, although it makes my retention graph plummet dramatically when I do! 😆 The people that love it, love it, and say so in the comments, but a big proportion skip or abandon. I don't think it's disrespectful, but I certainly wouldn't film any of the people in there - I only get people-free shots. I'm looking forward to your next vlog. I'm a few days behind with them. x

But yes it’s a shame people don’t watch the vlogs of cathedrals buildings only the select few like us.. but hey we do it cause we enjoy filming it’ll give us something to watch when we are in our dotage and we can say we did all that.. hopefully CZcams still be about then 😂 … hope you enjoy the Bayeux vlog with cathedral we went back twice never seen cathedral like it stunning x
Hi Guys, My wife and i were in Honfleur about 10years ago and this little town really stayed in our memories. Fantastic. If you travel on to Bayeux be sure to go and visit the cemetary from WW2 , where soldiers from various nations have found their final resting place. A very moving experience but well worth a visit.
