I remember watching this way back when it aired on the old Channel 4 TV in Cartersville. This is a very interesting and well produced documentary program, especially since I'm a lifelong railfan and history buff!
i didn't know that the raiders might have refueled at another station other than Cass station
Jean Shepherd brought me here. Thanks for posting.
The general locomotive was inspired by Atlanta United fc and still on display today
I have this locomotive in HO scale and I’m going to display it prominently on my layout.
I understand that only damage that the Raiders did to the General was a overheated bearing because they could not stop to oil them
I understand that the Texas has recently been restored to how she looked in the 1880s
neat to know this about my current area of residence. :)
I like how he referenced the General to a horse
the General is a beautiful looking steam engine
She is on display
