There is just something about power hour that no other festival in the world can top. Production is a solid 11/10, just unmatched. And what an edit! Insane how much work must have went into this video production but wow, so worth it!

Just go to the bar on the side of the stage, and go into the center from the side. Easier than people think. Although if you try to get to the front from the back through the middle, you might as well give up.

Being an American, living in a small town in the middle of nowhere. I personally would have never discovered this lifestyle. However do to a streaming community i was apart of i discovered friends, no better yet family from The Netherlands. They introduced me to this new lifestyle. And i must say it has changed my life for the better. It grabs a hold of your soul and sends shivers down your spine in excitement. Thank you Defqon.1 for uniting so much into one show.

They sprayed everyone, let people drink from the hose, and people with caps just reached their caps over to them, and then they soaked them for us, so they could cool us down when wearing them. I understand that the past years have been cool, highly choreographed and have great production value - but the songs and music haven't been as hard. There hasn't been a power hour that has gained the feeling of 2016. THAT feeling, THAT emotion, I think - may be hard to replicate.

Good morning, Once again I'm watching POWER OUR 2023, and I must say that I never tire of it, in all these years when I first discovered DEFQON1, I no longer watch any other festival. You always make us dream so much Pyro, laser show on the end show, I have never seen a festival that comes close to DEFQON1, which does not take away from the quality of the other festivals!!! Decors never identical, always creative, hats off to the decor creators and the entire organization despite the few reviews I have read. Everything is great, keep it up, keep making us dream Long live DEFQON1 2024!!! Hoping that there are no covid-type constraints.
When Wolter Kroes came on some random Spanish guy asked me wtf was going on. I told him “this is a random Dutch folk singer they brought on here 🤣” he looked at me like he’d seen a ghost and told me wide-eyed “I LOVE IT”
Cameras definetly got upgraded. Video quality is clearly much better! Missing the crazy overlay visual/effects compared to the previous Power Hour Aftermovies and a bit too much spinning shots at moments, but that's just my personal opinion. CAN'T WAIT TO BE PART OF THIS AGAIN NEXT YEAR!

I understand that the past years have been cool, highly choreographed and have great production value - but the songs and music haven't been as hard.
There hasn't been a power hour that has gained the feeling of 2016. THAT feeling, THAT emotion, I think - may be hard to replicate.
I think the advent of "festival hardtyle" has changed things a lot. I do know what you are saying, that was my favorite defqon era.

Pyro, laser show on the end show, I have never seen a festival that comes close to DEFQON1, which does not take away from the quality of the other festivals!!!
Decors never identical, always creative, hats off to the decor creators and the entire organization despite the few reviews I have read.

Cameras definetly got upgraded. Video quality is clearly much better! Missing the crazy overlay visual/effects compared to the previous Power Hour Aftermovies and a bit too much spinning shots at moments, but that's just my personal opinion. CAN'T WAIT TO BE PART OF THIS AGAIN NEXT YEAR!
