Thanks for the list, Legend! Great video as always. Any suggestions to replace Hearse straight away? Can't spend the wildcards
since it's mostly played as graveyard hate, you can run relic of progenitus or soul-guide lantern instead. you'll lose out on the possibility of having a beater with the exile, but the exile is the more important part
@@IamCorrosiveI think Bolt isn’t legal in Explorer, otherwise it’d be played in a bunch of decks ranging from mono-red to control and midrange decks with red 😅

Thoughts on thing in the ice? I kept it in, but is it worth swapping for hearse?
I see it more like a sideboard plan for decks that that put a lot of permanents in play, while also being a threat that dodges graveyard hate. It doesn’t directly support the phoenix plan, but the deck has all the tools it needs to enable it.
Looks pretty cool, but why not run fetchlands to help enable Treasure Cruise?
Fetch lands aren't legal in Pioneer/Explorer.

Maindeck hearse is crazy but seems rational
Torch the Tower can be another way of dealing with Phoenix specifically, but it won't help with Cruise or other graveyard decks.
Did you play a historic version in the video? Because I swear you had faithless looting in the deck at one point. 😂
As a substitute for it, I use the 2R cresture that has an adventure for R that lets you discard a card to draw. I’ve also put the 2R draw spell in at times thst gets you a treasure.
