Yeah the wings are for show... As is the colour tbh. Interesting little bugs
The upstairs bit of tropical realm is now permanently closed as they have deemed it a fire risk
Probably doesn't hurt the birds to have somewhere to go that is out of the reach of the public too.

Have you guys seen the new male tiger dash and have you heard about the baby giraffe Stanley yet
Might be going on Sunday to check out the tiger.
Have you seen the 'offshow' blesbok in the zoo yet because if you haven't they are in the old banteng/bongo paddock in between the parrot breeding centre and the bird nursery by the red pandas and the reason I put speech marks around offshow is because they are quite easily viewable if you look in the right place
We haven't really looked tbh. Certainly not in that enclosure!
@@gemark1605 alright I would stop there because for me I like to spend some time there especially on a busy day there as I had the whole area to myself last time I went
