On stuff being closed on a Tuesday, sometimes in Western Ireland places will close or have limited hours on the Monday/Tuesday because they had staff on at the weekends. They're better off being open for a Sunday than a Tuesday kind of logic. Usually this is smaller businesses that can't be keeping loads of staff on.
My Mammy, who died 25 years ago, maiden name was Moher, family came to New Zealand from near Liscannor, so I'm sure that the cliffs are named after my family. Still miss her.
Hope you get your gas sorted out, you've probably found out by now propane Calor bottles in Ireland don't have the same POL fitting as UK bottles. You'll need a different pigtail.
The Slea Head drive is wonderful, one of my favourite part of Ireland, we were there at the end of July, we had a fantastic cycle round it with wall to wall sunshine, yes it does happen now and again 😎 BTW Aldi do sell collapsible buckets and bowls when they do camping specials.
anoter wonderfull vidio but the one thing i dont understand views-1.4k and only 184 likes are people so ignorant that they cant even press a single button for recognition of your hard work
Hi just come across your channel, really enjoying your travels in Ireland. Inspired me to go on touring holiday. Visited my parents counties loads of times , but havent really travelled around other counties. Keep up the good work 😊
Excellent video, I live about 4 hours away on the east coast of Ireland and have toured the Wild Atlantic way a few times, it's stunning, early this summer we used you guide to the NC500 for our motorbike trip and it was mind blowing, totally unreal, thanks very much for such a detailed guide :-) we definitely didn't see half the stuff but everyday was packed with as much as we could fit in. P.S. many places to gas refills in Ireland, its just badly advertised
Awh looks like a nice relaxed break away. Being Irish had a giggle at a couple of pronouncinations , Listowel( Listoel) Cliffs of Moher( Mowher) , i enjoyed it all. The Cliffs of Moher have had a few people sadly thrown themselves off there, so sad. Delighted ye saw a good few placws before ye decided to head to Dublin. Knick is pure country, lovely people. Did ye check halfords for the bucket.
Love being treated to an extra long video this week! Didn't love the fact you had those couple close calls...yikes. Welp, at least you weren't those geniuses who attempted to drive down that pier at Dunquin. Not sure what they were thinking? But I am certain where my thoughts are regarding this episode! Just a shame that Shepton isn't exactly a stone's throw from me, oh well. Otherworldly scenes however! Amazing stuff! Cheers guys!
Good episode here. I think a trip out to Blaskets is epic. You get that closeness to hundreds of years of history and a way of life. But guys, it's Cliffs of MOW-her, not moHAIR! 😂 (My poor ears!) But it's understandable - my favourite pastime driving around with my wife was getting her to try and pronounce the place-names 😅
@@highlands2hammocks when there breeding season is on, they have there home or nest high up on the hills, but when they come back from fishing they will always land at the bottom ,and then walk up to there nest, and i am sure even you would be puffed getting home lol,
We would recommend 2-3 weeks if you can! It is a huge road trip with loads of smaller sections that can be explored in more detail ☺️ we will be giving loads of sample itineraries in our upcoming book so keep an eye out for that!

Dramatic seascapes...and dramatic e-scapes! You have it all... YAM xx
Absolutely 😍😍

That’s interesting! Hope this gave you some good memories ☺️
They probably are thats a common thing in ireland places named after families or clans
@@highlands2hammocks You said the kilkee cliffs look like out of starwars well it probably is ,some scenes in starwars were filmed around there

Great video, two things I got my collapsible bucket from Halfords and you need to have a word with h2h for a new mug 😂.
Thanks! We will need to check there 😁 haha I'll need to speak to the boss about that one then 😂
Hope you get your gas sorted out, you've probably found out by now propane Calor bottles in Ireland don't have the same POL fitting as UK bottles. You'll need a different pigtail.

By the way, you have just *got* to have chips and curry sauce from the chip shops.

Amazon sell buckets!
They do, however, we are struggling to get a delivery address as they dont have drop boxes here in Ireland unfortunately 😅
@@highlands2hammocks ah bugger! Gaffer tape!🤣
Did you get over to the Blaskets? I've been to the Dingle 6 times and never managed it yet because of the weather!!
Unfortunately not due to the weather! We did manage to get on a speedboat tour (in next weekends video) and we saw a lot of wildlife!

Haha yeah I’m not great at them 😂 and yes thank you! We found one in Halfords
Did you not visit Dingle distillery? Best Gin in Ireland and beyond.
Unfortunately not! We were both feeling very under the weather at this point so didn’t want to push ourselves by drinking 😋

Im sure youve been told but its said "More" not mohair.
Thanks 😆

Are you sure your in ireland and not on another planet. 😊The views are breathtaking. 💚
You cant beat lidl bakery.😂 mine is the apple turnover. 🧡
It’s hard to believe sometimes and the views just keep getting better 😍
best brownie ever, thats a big claim. but is it as good as a senners doughnut
Haha tell me about it!
Cliffs of Moher are simply a tourist trap for foreigners. Far prettier coastal views around the general area for free...
A visitor centre for cliffs , what a con
Yeah it sure is 😂 the lack of right to roam here shows! We take it for granted in Scotland
me mom told us why puffins were called puffins
Why is that? 😁

Get rid of that useless filler and pump system. Buy a watering can and pour it in.
Yup we plan on that haha this pump is so annoying
@@highlands2hammocks should be easy enough to change the filler. Save you loads of time in the long run. Good luck.
Get a new mug it looks so tack. But the chanel is brilliant
