  • Welcome to Holtonsfixit101 This is the DeWalt DCS570 cordless circular saw. This saw is 18v and with its 185mm blade and its very powerful for a saw of it's size. Most cordless saws are smaller in blade size so that's why it makes this one unique having the 185mm blade. Sure there are other saws this size but their either corded or they have to have two batteries to run them. I've had this saw for about a month and ripped some sheets of ply with it and i'm very impressed with it. It nothing less than feature packed for it's small size. See my other video's on DeWalt tools in the links below.

*Probably one of my most used **MyBest.Tools** cordless tools. Plenty of power when used with the 5.0Am Lithium Ion Batteries. Awesome cordless circular saw. Would highly recommend!*

Did the dust extractor part come with your saw? Here in the US it doesn't include the black bit that connects to the dust extractor with the bare tool. (Dcs570b)

Yes mine came with the vacuum connector. It's very handy because I have the DeWalt connection system which means the hose from my shop vac clips on and stays on during use. I'm thinking of doing a video on the DeWalt connection system but there's very little data on it and it's quite new on DeWalt tools. As for the dust port, not sure but i think the law is different in the UK that says our tools must have the optional dust extraction port sold as standard. It proberbly come from the same set of rules that states were not allowed to sell table saws in this country that take dado blades, but that ones a big can of worms i'm not opening. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and feedback is always welcome no matter where it come from

Nice review -i didn't think 190mm fit on it -but now I might try it. Have this saw and my opinion is: great machine but is UNDERPOWER. If u cut marine ply that will take ages and if u cutting 45 degree is nightmare Best future is light -is my 1st saw with it is great and now I can say I won't buy any saw without the light I brought it as part of the set....
But if I had some expirence using it b4 I buy It I will steeal buy set and sell that saw as unused and use money adding some more £ 2 buy 54v with I used and is powerfull...

I have just bought this as I am going to build a shed. I notice there is a squareish hole on the side of the dust extraction part that seem strange can you tell me the point of this hole and the suction must be weakened surely ?

Thank you for this in-depth review of the saw. I think I will buy this saw, it really looks awesome. I just have one question. You mentioned that you have a 190mm blade installed on the saw. So I assume a 190mm blade actually fits. But have you ever encountered problems because you weren't using the prescripted blade dimension? This is important information for my purchase because the variety in 190mm blades is much more than 184mm blades.

Most 190mm blades are 30mm bore and the 570 says 16mm bore blade. Has your 190 blade have a 16mm bore or did the 30mm bore blade fit? Thanks

Mine has a 3/8 bore and used a reduction ring to fit the saw

Unforgivable to do a near 20 min review of a power tool and not show it in action
