A conditional is an 'If clause', no? I mean, where it is in As long as you love me? It is 'As long as you love me I'll be your platinum' because it talks about a general condition o something that usually happens (but in that case it should be a zero conditional)?
Conditionals are not always "if" clauses, as long as, unless, etc can function as such since they are another form of expressing condition. In "As Long as You Love Me" there is a first conditional (present simple + will), because it refers to a particular situation (not general)
