    The end of the installation is the perfect distance to then show off the firearm with the upgrade. As a customer, I would love to be able to see it closeup like that to have the firearm shown off moving around in different angles.

    Yeeeah, buddy - great video! It took me about 10-min to install my new Tyrant extended slide catch lever. Many thanks for the video and quality lever.

    Everything went great but after the last round won’t lock the slide and reset with a new mag either. Yes my are not in the way or hitting have tested Multiple times with a single round in the chamber with no mag and a single round in a mag. Have taken it apart multiple times anyone else had this problem before

      It's a rare issue, but I have seen it. It's likely the spring, it can become bent pretty easily. I would have it inspected and, if needed, replaced.

      I’m having the same issue with the slide not holding back

    • @HopefulStudios
      @HopefulStudios Před 4 měsíci

      I am having the same issue as well, I tested this issue at the range for a solid 30 minutes…on 3 different magazines, loading only one round, firing, and testing lock back.
      I’m not riding the lever, I tested super tight grip, limp wristing, one-handed….I’d ballpark that it failed to lock back on empty roughly 50% of the time and I was unable to identify the common denominator in what would cause it.
      Just swapped back to my factory one. Looking at it there is a decent bit of visual wear on the Tyrant slide lever and some slight deformation on the actual edge where the slide interacts with slide catch. Probably sitting at 500 rounds.

      Mine did it brand new. I’m getting an armory craft or sig replacement. Wasted $35 on tyrant

      @@timnichol Once I installed mine, it made it super difficult to remove the slide from the grip module. I went back to the OEM slide lock and like you said wasted $$$

    Is this compatible with Icarus precision grips?

  • @kennethdawsonjr2723

    I would stick with the OEM slide lock, I installed on my 365 XMACRO and it made it almost impossible to release the slide from the grip module. Checked the installation several times and kept having the same issue. I re installed the OEM slide lock and everything worked as it should. I wouldn't recommend

      If you're having trouble let us know, we can get it working for you! It's likely the post that goes into the FCU isn't married up yet, you can get the process kickstarted by sanding that post a little before installation, and then it will wear in the rest of the way with some use.

    • @kennethdawsonjr2723
      @kennethdawsonjr2723 Před měsícem

      Thanks anyway, I tried several times to get it to work correctly and it just wouldn't work properly. If I have to do sanding etc. then that's a product that doesn't work as designed/described. I took it out/off and put back in the bag and threw it in the parts bin, replaced with OEM part and works perfectly

    Is it really extended? It looks to be the same length as the factory original. The problem with the P365's slide stop is not just that it doesn't stick out far enough, it's also that it doesn't extend back towards your thumb enough.

    • @tyrantcnc
      @tyrantcnc  Před 10 měsíci +1

      It's the same length front to back, but extends outwards more. In our experience the increased purchase on the button makes it a lot easier to release on a full mag.

      @@tyrantcnc Thanks for replying. I don't have any problem with using it as a slide release. It's the slide lock function that I find difficult. I have to change my grip and take the gun out of my workspace to do it. I ordered an "extended slide lock" from Sig. If it doesn't work out, I'll try yours.

    How tight are tolerances on this? I can't seem to place my fcu back in frame because the circular nub is catching the frame.

    • @tyrantcnc
      @tyrantcnc  Před měsícem

      The tolerances are pretty tight. Send some photos over to info@tyrantcnc.com and we'll take a look. It's possible the post going into the FCU just needs a light sanding.
