@ Burstimo . Any advice on who to contact to develop out a song whereby one has just say the chorus or a verse of a song? I have composed several hundreds of these and just hum the tune into my phone recorder as i don't play an instrument nor can't sing! I have no interest in becoming a pop star either. I find Promotion of my music, daunting, but this video breaks down promoting one's music to a manageable process. I am saving this video for replaying and listening to again.

Making a lot of music this year and releasing EP a month. Making music videos, making reels, making pre-saves, premieres, tying to be honest and tell everything about the story behind, about the process behind the songs, but still can't reach people out of my region. And when I show people the music in person, they like it and they add it to their playlists. Just want to say that it's really hard to step out from your geographical circle (Croatia) by just promoting music online. Algorithm is trying to keep us here ... But I know it'll be big one day. I knew right away that social media was easily the best way for me to promote myself and my music but I did always have some doubts and this video really helped. I trust when u said watching this would put u ahead and now it’s real. 🐐
It is, but you won't get far promoting on Instagram, even if you pay for promotion. Focus on TikTok and CZcams for posting and promoting.

Fleetwood Mac had to push back the release date of Tusk because Rumours was still doing so ridiculously well, they would have been crazy to take the attention off Rumours and onto Tusk during that period

Very good topic. Probably the strongest trait of the artist of the future on social platforms will be knowing the psychology of their viewers. This task was previously handled by a marketing/promotion department in the music industry. But since you can market yourself today, you will have to deal with it. Aside from the presentation in the videos, I've noticed for a while that people with exciting thumbnails (YT) are quickly starting a clickbait trend, which for my taste rarely delivers what it promises. You can also quickly trigger a negative effect.
