For people how don't know, Long Island City (just like Brooklyn) was it's own independent city until 1898, when it became a part of New York City and became part of the newly created Borough of Queens with the rest of the western part of Queens County at the time. The eastern part of Queens County became Nassau County.

Stunning views of a 55 yr. old´s native new New York City. NYC is a pluricentric Metropolis. Outside Manhattan, we have Jersey City-Hoboken, Fort Lee-Edgewater, Downtown Brooklyn , Long Island City , Spuyten Duyvil-Riverdale highrise area and Kew Gardens.

Wish I could get a crystal clear video on my mavic pro, mine always has noise or fuzzy ness in it. It looks good but no where as amazing as your quality.. love you videos man I actually got my drone cuz your videos inspired me
the original footage looks nothing like this. Get final cut and look up how to color correct & sharpening. Editing will take twice as long as flying. Spend time with some CZcams tutorials. That’s when I learned it’s all about editing and less about the drone.

Agreed lived there until 9/11/ 2001. Back then CityBank bldg was the only skyscraper in LIC Queens. Now wow.

I believe that's 21st , around Astoria House's. The bldgs with cross type shape are NYC Housing Projects. 3 are on 21st Astoria, Ravenswood, and Queensbridge. I grew up in Ravenswood, but hung out in QB and A.
