The beauty of this particular area is the hilly terrain with lush vegetation and proximity to rocky shores. Some part are perfect for diving. Been there few times on the way to Antique province.
The carabao bull fight during the town fiesta is the highlight of the culture. I've been to at least 25 of 41 or so town fiestas of the province and San Joaquin's is by far more colorful and true to local Malay's identity. BTW, a famous state university UP-V is only 15 minutes away.

SAN JOAQUIN ☆ What a beautiful, well-kept, well-designed community!! Suits you and Bianca to a "T", Michael! A town of 50,000 is manageable. Those streets are wide, PAVED and clean. When will your current lease expire? 😉 ... All the RESORTS you visited are top-notched. Hard to rank, but their individual Theme sets each one apart. And the views!! Oh-la-la!! Paradise indeed.

Hi, we do say the prices in the video. Memory serves correct starting at P1500 pesos up to the largest 4 person P3500 includes breakfast buffet (some room prices are based on 4 people with breakfast). To be honest we are now wondering if it was 2500 not 3500. Sorry it is talked about in the video of the real prices

My uncle is inside the tomb where the Priest are at. Also right before the end of the steps to the right is where my grandparents are buried where the cross is at. Next time you visit San Joaquin ask about my family Nieves-Fabia. They are well known and you’ll be surprised who my mothers younger brother is. i’m the grandson from California. Trust me all the Mayors and governors and counsel people you met are small time compared to who my uncle is.

What is the name of this place? I live about 10 to 15 minutes from San Jaquin Iloilo (about 1/2 between San Juaquin and Miagao) but am always looking for weekend getaways!

Wow I have not seen a cemetery as beautiful as that cemetery in the Philippines, well kept, white colored tombs. I have been talking to my husband where I want to be buried when I die, I said I do not want to be buried in the States because my name will just be a tiny space on the ground. The cemetery in my hometown in the Philippines looks horrible, no maintenance, all the tomb's colors were multi-colored and ugly. That cemetery in San Joaquin will be a dream place to be buried...LOL...
You can get any type of burial place in America, small to large. I've seen tombs, mausoleums, etc.
