    This is great! I have 2 kids who work left to right in their head. This will make so much sense to them

    Interesting way of solving these problems. Definitely different than how I was taught, but I like how it breaks things into easy to understand chunks when solving the problem. I can see why this would be easier for students to pick up and become proficient to the point where they can quickly do these problems in their head.

    really it is a much easier and safer method of teaching the basic operations than we have been for years in using in our schools.

    I like the subtraction method, but the division seems longer with additional steps since traditional division is also left to right ?

    • @MathChallenge1
      @MathChallenge1  Před rokem +2

      I totally agree! I think the benefit with this method is so that kids could have a strong understanding of an estimated answer, such as it will be around “4,000” and just being ahead of the answer 😊 thanks so much for watching! 🙏

    No..This is not singapore mathematics method..this is so confusing...
    We use the right to left method
    We use number bond
    We use bar method

    The addition and subtraction seem to me more complicated than carry a digit..
    Double zeroes are the easiest part of a calculation in the "normal " way. Your way makes it a mess.
    I don'tknow if this makes easier to calculatein other bases,but in base10,this is not cool.(or i am too old to learn new tricks)...

      Thank you for watching! Yes, it may take a bit of time to “re-learn’” since most of us are used to the traditional method ☺️👌 I think it is nice to know both ways!

      Right? I understand the concept, but this is just adding more steps to a simple equation.
