Does Weapon Type Matter in Fable The Lost Chapters?

- Today I will be testing something I have been wondering for quite some time now, and that is whether or not weapon type makes any difference damage-wise for certain enemies in Fable.
For those who don't know, the description on certain weapons hint that there may be certain benefits to using specific weapons against specific enemies. More specifically, the Master Pickhammer description alleges that pickhammers should be able to easily pierce armor, alluding to a possibility that pickhammers carry a similar effect to the piercing augmentation, which is also claims to "reduce the effectiveness of enemy armour".
This seems to hint that the pickhammer may deal bonus damage to enemies who are weak against piercing damage, and that possibly not all weapons are made the same. Well let's find out once and for all, whether or not weapon type really makes a difference in Fable Anniversary / Fable TLC!
Anyways hope you enjoy it make sure to leave a like and subscribe and all that fun stuff!

Interesting video! Good info
Glad you think so!
nice video, always was wondering why there was so many types of weapons, i guess it would feel boring to only having a sword or a catana as an option to buy from a shookeeper
Yeah it would be nice if the damage discrepancies weren't so wild though
An obsidian katana literally does more damage than the master pickhammer
And i was wondering why i wasn’t doing damage with the the master pick hummer and all of those augments
I wonder if there's a way to mod "invisible" piercing augments into the pickhammers
Like so they would have the effect of maybe 2 piercing augments, but it wouldn't show up in the slots, and the original slots would still be open for augmenting
Wouldn't it be easier to just mod its stats atp?@@PTMG
Every weapon type should get a passive "augmentation" so all are useable in their own ways against certain enemies.
Like in Skyrim you can perk for higher crit with swords, stun with blunt weapons, and bleeds with axes.
I know you already did a heroic fable anniversary playthrough, but it would be fun if you did one with no exploits
that would be rough lol
mostly just cause potions would take too long to get
@@PTMG oof yeah that's a good point
i'll just stick with the great hammer cause its cool lol, i like the aesthetic of a giant mallet
the difference between the great hammer/axe/sword isn't too insane anyway imo
definitely worth going for aesthetics with heavy weapons
If I'm honest on this one if they had a melee weapon that bypassed blocking, that would be the only one I'd ever use (it's the reason I always used multi strike, that mechanic is just terrible).
Yeah, like blocking isn't too bad when it's executed in a balanced way, but it is in no way balanced in this game. Some enemies literally just block 100% of attacks and that is no fun at all.
Screamers have no armor..why would it be 533% xD
they have relatively low health too lol it's pretty ridiculous
Can i master blaster
master blast her
