I like how Jordan understood the assignment and made one semi-unreasonable demand. He wanted the best actress he could think of to play his mother.
Rich is one of the coolest nicest guys. He’s always respectful
Get off your knees and wipe your mouth.
Matt and Ben are awesome storytellers and it started with Good Will
Good interview. My family watched the movie this weekend. I grew up a Pistons “Bad Boys” fan, so hating every Jordan was a given. We loved this movie. Knowing the heights MJ would attain, along with the unspeakable pain (senseless death of his father) put MJs career in a better context. The choice to weaving these moments of MJs life throughout the “Sonny speech” and the final credits, transformed a salesman’s pitch into a prophecy fulfilled. Momma did her boy right. Then her son performed as only she and Sonny believed was possible. He was the one.
Matt is a class act.
Matt is a hambone actor, dreadful a tool
Wonderful interview
The movie was very entertaining. Damon and Davis were great
Matt Damon is so honest and authentic. God, we need more of this in the world. "No spandex and capes."
Yes I agree he is honest about being a Tool
So now I've got my 8 year old niece quoting this movie-- "Spokane Washington. Stockton's too short too..."
Jason Bateman was incredible too
Bateman plays the same guy with the same delivery and dry sense of humour in every role. He’s good, but he has zero acting range.
@@sdot5389 Ozark proved otherwise.
Matt Damon is that actor who is smart and talk with substance. He would be a good director.
he couldint direct traffic He is a tool
His Mark Whitacre role was a great one!
It's a great movie and story. Glad they made it and MJ gave them his blessing
Matt: ""Who do you want me to play?"" As long as it''s not Michael. ha ha
great movie
Damon with the shot at Marvel 😂
Matt Damon told me Fortune favors the brave and now I don't have any money
I felt the same Rich felt, about the movie.
Movie was incredible
Yes, I saw it twice. Best 2023 movie I've seen so far.
No, it actually wasn't. Let's not act like this was a combination of The Godfather 1&2, Citizen Kane, The Sting, Goodfellas, and the Fugitive. It was boring, not particularly well-acted, and added very little to the actual story other than some "artistic" utter nonsense.
I watched this a few days ago
Matt has been one of my favorites since Will Hunting!!!!
Unc vs Georgetown was 1982 not 84. 84 Ewing played Villanova
20:00 Marvel and DC just caught a stray out of nowhere 😂
This movie is great! It reminds, a little bit, of Moneyball.
I was thinking it was like Tom Cruise's movie, Jerry Maguire. Except the agent here was getting in the way of the deal.
Matt Damon is a great actor. Just don't take financial advice from him.
Is Nike still employing sweatshop workers?
Probably. That's what Americans believe in.
Of course they are....
Movie made about signing the goat so Nike can sell more shoes ?! Cmon it’s really not a big screen story; unless you’re a sneaker head it was boooooring .
The most overplayed storyline ever. Ridiculous
I'm sure this deal was a big thing in sports shoe culture. But it was nothing new. I was a teacher in a ghetto junior high school in 1969. The kids who lived in the projects would brag about their clothes. I remember one 12 year old bragging about his $27.00 socks! Everyone was proud to have "Chucks", i.e. Chuck Taylor Allstars by Converse.
It was huge for kids who weren't into basketball. That's the thing.
I was a big bulls fan starting around 1988-89, had a MJ, Pippen and Rodman jersey, was all ra ra before and during the title runs, even rooted for the Pippen only Bulls when MJ left...I have a pair of custom Air Jordan’s.....I’m not going to see this movie....I lived through this....there’s no need for me to re live the moment....just like I’m a super Patriots fan...again started watching them around 88-89 too....I didn’t go see 80 for Brady! Why ? 🤣😊
Because you don't want movies like those being made.
You lived it? You just know the story like everyone else. Unless you worked for Nike at the time I don’t think you lived it.
It's actually a very mediocre film that drags.
About Nike! No thanks I’ll pass!
This movie looks so stupid.
Agree to disagree that was a different time bad comp as far as mom is concerned
