The BEST Jambalaya Recipe Ever!

- In today's video I'm making a very easy and delicious new Orleans most famous dish Jambalaya. This is Hands-down the best jambalaya recipe! It is surprisingly easy to make, customizable with your favorite proteins (I used shrimp and Andouille sausage), and full of bold, zesty, Cajun jambalaya flavors that everyone will love. 10-15 Large shrimp
1 cup celery
1 cup green bell pepper
1 cup onion
Andouille sausage
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil 1
1 Tablespoon thyme
1 teaspoon garlic
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon creole seasoning
2 Bay leaf
2 cups of jasmine rice
3 cups low sodium chicken broth
3 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon minced garlic
14 ounce diced tomato
2 tablespoons olive oil

Jambalaya is my favorite dish in the world and my mouth has been watering like crazy the whole time I been watching this.
Ok, i wasn't expecting much when i was looking at this recipe, but yesterday i made it and indeed! WOW! The spice mix was perfect, i did add Chili Spice and swapped cured sausages to hot Italian sausages i had frozen (baked on 450 for 45 min, then tossed them like suggested).
This recipe is going into our usual recipes we make on a monthly basis! :) Thank you

Just made this tonight. Haven't had Jambalaya in years, and yes it was good. The only alternations I made was added chicken thighs, and the cooking time was reduced by a few minutes. My shrimp were done in about 7 1/2 minutes. Definitely a keeper recipe!
I made this & my husband loved it said it was restaurant quality. I said thank you& took credit lol. I told him where I got the recipe. Ha.
Try this for biscuits so simple&delicious.
1cup heavy cream &
1 cup of self rising flour
Mix together& roll out @3\4 in thick. Cut into sq's. Old lady told me& i tried yum
350* till light golden

I've been making this from an old recipe 15+ yrs ago and have done my own thing. Thought I'd check to see if this New Englander is doing it right. Thank-you, it seems I am. Will try adding cajun w/creole seasoning. Great instructions.

I'm from South Africa. Came across the recipe by chance and tried it 👌🏻 I just added fresh Chilli and coriander and it was wow. I also squeezed lime on the the shrimp and let it marinate with the Cajun spice😋
Just to let you know Jambalaya is a Creole dish not Cajun
@@whoahna8438 Jambalaya is both Cajun and Creole. The creole version uses tomato, while the Cajun version does not.

Jambalaya has nothing to do with Canada or Cajuns. Jambalaya is Spanish and African therefore Créole and Isleños if anything. Cajuns just usurped most of Louisiana's culture because of racism
