- This video is all about the dual camera straps made by holdfast called the skinny money makers. In this video I talked about the differences between this version and the larger regular money makers as well as how I've enjoyed using them for the past few years for my professional work with my Sony full frame camera’s, the a7iii and a7riii, and I close off with talking about how they compare to other options like the black rapid straps and if I recommend them.
A huge thanks to Spencer for helping me film this! / spencer.sample

Nice video buddy. Very professional, beautifully shot and not biased or pushy in any way. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Shane.
Thinking of getting another set since it's black friday deals! Great review!
Thank you! I'm glad i was able to help!
Excellent honest review
Glad you liked it, thanks for watching :)
Hey Shane, I'm coming from the Spider holster system. Want to know if the Moneymaker has any way of pulling the cameras further up the torso. Dangling beside each waist seems scary especially in tight spots or kneeling down. Thanks!
Great Review was trying to purchase the Peak Design strap you got and have NOT been able to find it LOL closest is their Wrist Strap looks thick not sure if it will work any chance you have a link to purchase that strap it looks easier to take off at an event for overhead shots theirs takes too long and might miss shots thanks...
How did you mount the Peak Design Anchor Links to the Money Maker? Did you modify the nylon webbing that came with the Money Maker?
I actually just threw out the nylon ones it came with and if you buy any peak design backpack they come with little anchors and it just worked out that they were the exact right length and material and I had one myself and I got a second one from a friend.
If you want to make them for yourself though I don't think it would be difficult to modify the webbing it comes with and just buy the independent anchors and anchor links that peak design sells on their website. You probably could also get away with using paracord weave rather than the nylon webbing which might look a little nicer as well.
Hiii.. I'm abhilash .. from India .. I like your videos ... much informative.
Thank you 😊
Great content. Thank you so much. I was just wondering if you have to unhook the camera for high angle shots?
Thank you! I never really need to as I’m tall enough that that is rarely an issue, if anything, I usually shoot from my torso rather than my head. But as long as the sliding mechanism doesn’t intersect with the shoulder pads, which you can always slide back, you wouldn’t need to disconnect it to get it as high as you possibly would want.
@@ShaneBethlehem Great! thank you. I'm on the shorter side so I often have to extend my arm and use the back screen to frame and shoot. The double harness I'm using doesn't allow me to do this at all.
Hey Shane
Thank you for all the work you do! I just have a quick question: I'm almost 6'3/191cm (rather skinny) and I'd really like to get one of these. Would you say that with 6'2 you are wearing the M at the limit?
Thank you for watching. I have the M at the smaller setting for the holes on it and I find it comfortable that way, so even if you are a little larger than me I think you have some room. With that said I prefer usually tighter fitting things/and don't like much room for swinging so I prob and just at the limit in reality but I find it very comfortable.
@@ShaneBethlehem Thank your for your help! Have a good one :)
I am 5ft tall and l got a A7iii, a7 with Sigma 24-70, Sony 200-600 and Sigma 100-400 so which strap should I get?
the 200-600 I think is a lil' too big for this strap, buf if you're rocking 1 cam the majority of the time I'd recommend the the slide straps by peak design: czcams.com/video/QEZhG9sNS9I/video.html
I am 5’6 but weigh 160lbs. Should I pick small or medium? Thanks
Great question but I would refer to their sizing on the site, I only have experience with the version I got I’m sorry
Hi Shane, do you find them noisey?
Hi Jason, I don’t find them to clink much, like during a quiet ceremony they are not noticeable. If you are swinging your cameras around probs a different story, but that’s not how I roll usually 😅
Check out desiredleather for comparison, better price
They look fantastic, and they use the same attachment mechanism!
You look like you having diffulty walking… -cons
