  • After Gukesh drew his final round game against Hikaru Nakamura, all eyes were on Caruana vs Nepo. If any of them would win the game, they would enforce the tiebreaks! And this was such an exciting battle. Check out the duel after which both players were completely exhausted with commentary by IM Sagar Shah.

    This actually shows how tough this tournament is in terms of both level and pressure. Even the most experienced, world no.2 couldn't convert a winning position into win. This shows Gukesh didnt just play Brilliant chess but also handled Pressure so well

    The thumbnail saying TIRED is inaccurate, it’s the HEARTBREAK moment realizing the journey has come to an end.

    Satisfying to see Ian Crib. We have not forgotten how he behaved with Hari Krishna. Gukesh sailing through is excellent. I would have settled for Fabi Crushing Ian as well.

    Painful. As far as I'm concerned Nepo acheived nothing in this event other than to save this game. One guy was happy with the draw. The other was not. That tells you everything.

    It's funny that tournaments are supposedly always decided at the end. According to this logic, the previous games were meaningless. very strange!

    • @asimmishra2764
      @asimmishra2764 Před 16 dny +6

      The match ended up in a draw and at one point Fabi was in winning position but he did a blunder in move no 41 which eventually led to a draw..... The winner of this match could have challenged Gukesh in the tie break round for the first position and to win the candidates but Guki won it as sole leader.....

    • @user-ru9vt3cv1o
      @user-ru9vt3cv1o Před 16 dny +2

      Nepo is in lost position but fabi doesn't find accurate moves. and by accepting the draw fabi misses the rapid tie breaks that's why nepo apologies

    • @neelshah8863
      @neelshah8863 Před 16 dny +7

      Fabi was in completely winning position multiple times, so Nepo should have resigned. Even sagar bhai said in commentary, but he plays on, fights on and eventually Fabi blunders which Nepo capitalises on and its a draw eventually. Nepo apologies for it in the end and Fabi replies saying its my fault. True Gentleman of the Game.

      @sultansarvaiya1664 Před 13 dny

      Fabi was winning and nepo used all dirty tricks to prevent him from winning and he desperately tried to create chances for him self that’s why . Both players fought very well.
