That's taken from the little promo blurb we wrote for the mix, so don't pin it on the GetDarker fam... for reference we think a lot of the 808 / trappy drum stuff is dull AF 🤣

@@GL-iy7mj Oh absolutely, not saying it's a new thing. We just [erspnally think the current application of it in this sort of trap / drill thing has gone a bit too far and very few people are doing it well. All feels very subdued and low energy to us (and not in a purposeful way)
