Got two CAPS - one OEM by BMW and another one non-OEM by URO. Huge Difference. They both hold pressure, but I decided to go with OEM. Returned another one.
URO is generally crap for BMW. Vaico, Rein, and Febi are the go if you don't want to get original. However, price difference is not much. Vaico and Rein are $16.69 on FCP Euro, Febi is $11.99, and original is $19.49. less than 3 bucks more for original is worth
@@MindHunger That's why I said "Generally" lol. Some other brands, like VAICO, Bosch, and REIN are MUCH better GENERALLY speaking. But for example, I wouldn't trust my cooling/lubrication system to URO (Already did, oil cooler and gasket were URO, it failed with only 5k miles and left me stranded with milkshake in my radiator, gasket was 100% cooked and crystallized, and also PCV oil separator failed within 5k miles, crank to separator hose also burnt down and almost made my car caught on fire). Generally speaking, if it's related to a gasket, a spring, or a hose, steer away from URO. Some electrical/mechanical parts like window regulators are good, but everything else is garbage, there's a quality reason why they are sold on Amazon, but not on FCP Euro (Which offers lifetime warranty, therefore only sell top quality). But yeah, my personal experience with URO, once they left me stranded, and then they almost burn my car to ashes, so, no, thanks, I'll stay away from URO.
how did you know that you needed to change the cap?
thanks! its useful tip👍🏼
Good tip! Thanks.

Like any supplier for the BMW Uro are good for some things and not recommended for others. Uro BMW window regulators are better than OEM.
