    THIS was way easier to DIY than the driveshaft! czcams.com/video/u0DMb7zX9lA/video.html

    Great video. That’s the way to do it right there. Nice job.

    Looking at it while you are free spinning it, you are pretty close to the limit on Angle now and she might "chatter" when the frontend goes down in the suspension. These little Jeeps are a PITA when it comes to this part of it. A way to solve that angle, is to cut the axle tubes on the front end and rotate the differential up. On the rear if it's doing the same thing, it's a lot easier, all you have to do is cut the spring perch's off and rotate the dif (aka re-clocking your dif's). If you were closer, I'd sale you a set of those that are already "clocked" for a 4" lift on a CJ.

      Yes sir, it is very close. 😉 There are also angled shims to rotate the diff.

    I want to do this to a fairly hot Mustang w/6 spd manual,but like you Im not sure how much torque itll take.

    • @PerpetualProjects
      @PerpetualProjects  Před 6 měsíci +1

      The torque capability is mostly going to depend on the materials and your welds.

      @@PerpetualProjects Thanks. Can a yoke that's friction welded to the tube be removed? I don't see how.
