@@user-ub5vx8ul8x the straw I used came with a wire, but you can attach the wire yourself after cutting out the straw strap, you use the wire to pierce through the middle or edge depending on where you will use your trimming, or alternatively you can use thread and needle and attach the wire at the edge and use bias to cover it.

Yes you can, but you will have to attach millinery wire because flat straw does not come with millinery wire
