My small collection is mostly a mix of AW, JL, GL, and M2s with just a small amount of HWs and Matchboxs. I greatly prefer the more realistic looking cars compared to the more fantastical. Of the Autoworlds, the Vintage Muscles have been my favorites. The 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger has been my favorite casting by AW so far.
Thank you, I tried to make it a goal to collect every casting a while back but didn't have the space or money for it. Perhaps in the future I can make it work.
I do love Auto World. They give me options for cars that I wouldn't get from Hot Wheels or Matchbox or Maisto. The Dodge Conquest is exactly a perfect example (I'd been looking for its stable mate the Daytona Turbo Z because I've been watching the 80s TV show Hunter., and the Conquest scratched my Dodge itch). Nobody else made the 73 Pontiac GTO, nor those Landau top Cadillacs. Sometimes it's not about hunting or Treasure or Super Treasure. Sometimes, it's all about a Camaro convertible or something else off the main. Great video.
Thanks for watching. Auto World is just perfect for finding things nobody else makes. I'd also bring a pocket car with me everywhere but my pockets aren't spacious enough for the jeans I wear. Definitely need to start wearing cargo shorts again when it gets warmer out.
the few of these i've bought have been outstanding...really great idea for this company to make a line of 1/64 cars/trucks that are completely accurate in details/comparative size...
I haven't seen very many M2 castings lately that I've even considered picking up. I bought a truck from them a while ago and the quality control was just horrible. Hopefully they improved on it this year.
@@AGrownManWithToys I agree they do have bad quality control i think there more for the carded boxed collector my thing is all they wanna do is line come sprite stuff like that but the chases r beautiful
Auto World, and Johnny Lightning are my favorites to collect, but their price had kept me from having my collection being anything but mostly Hotwheels and Matchbox for years. I was finally stable enough in 2018, and began altering my collection to AW and JL, heavy. I also prefer to hold, and inspect, my collection, off the card! However, the cards for Auto World are really great, and so I have left many on card. I love that some cards have the paint color, all cards have historical information, and neat card art. Dang it, I sure wish I could afford 2 of each casting that I like. Then, I could manipulate, and enjoy, off card, the Auto World, and Johnny Lightning, diecasts. My favorites to collect are station wagons, pickups, vans, mustangs(prefer '92 and before) and muscle cars that are pre 2000.😢 This is my first-time watching a video of yours, and it was fun! I enjoyed seeing the vehicles up closer, pieces of your collection, and your enthusiasm 😀
Oh yeah I love the card art that Auto World does! I actually have a huge box filled with all the peeled cards that I might plaster together one day for a decoration piece. But yes, the information they have on the sides relating to the casting is such a cool touch! Thank you for the comment!
@@AGrownManWithToys that putting all the cards together, design, sounds 👌🔥 fantastic! Think I will stick around, you're my kind of grown man with toys 😄
I also have all 6 variations. So much fun to have all of them next to each other. I would like to have at least 1 ultra red Mark V in my collection. I miss when I used to have time to head to the store during peak stocking hours to find the good stuff.
Thank you! Yeah I definitely had to pick this name, stands out and is goofy. I really need to try and collect more 1/43 scale but haven't found many that are a reasonable price for what I'm looking for.
@@JoseSuarez-bk3qg Is there a specific brand that you recommend? The only 1/43 scale I have is a NEO First Gen Honda Prelude in Black. Quality is a little poor for the price in my opinion but I could have just gotten a bad model.
Wish auto world would have nicer wheels. Width I mean. Got a Jeep rubicon and it has the skinniest rims and tires. Wheel faces look nice , but drop ball on widths.
Yes, except that it is incredibly tiny! 😆 Even with my glasses on, I need a magnifying 🔎 glass, to read the base information. That is the one thing that really frustrates me about the Auto World, and Johnny Lightning, vehicles.
I know I'm late to the party , but ; well stated, detail and quality over fad. Thou I have HW , I will collect outside of that make. But the question of economics also plays a part in my collecting , all about what I like ,and willing to pay. But we'll said , keep up the good work , and thanks.
Thank you for the comment! I believe this hobby should definitely be more focused on collecting what people like rather than abusing some things to make some cash on the side. I may make a video about that actually...
@@AGrownManWithToys Thank you for replying , good to know we're on the same wave length , I hope the hobby can maintain some integrity , and reasonable prophet to continue in the hobby. Thank you again.
Well I collect all brands. Lately don't collect hot wheels...I get it that's where you can make good money because that's where you find bigger fools but if you aren't in it to profit there are much better brands to collect with better detail. To each their own but I prefer higher detail over fad at the end of the day I collect for the hobby and my family will have a ball selling everything for $1 when I'm gone 😂 Thanks for sharing... autoworld in my opinion has awesome castings and details are spot on .
Every now and then I'll pick up a hot wheels car if I see something cool, but 90% of the time I'm looking for auto world. Just a better thing to collect
Thanks for the correction, definitely have too many years and models to remember. Now that I think about it I should probably write this stuff down before I just hit record and ramble.
I actually happen to have quite a few of them. Not as many as some other guys on CZcams but a decent amount. I'd love to do a couple videos on my Ultra Red collection sometime
'66 Impala. '65-'66 were virtually identical '65 had round taillights and '66 had the horizontal rectangles like yours. '67 went to different body style. 👀
I really gotta study and improve on my car knowledge. I love the way they look and would love to own and collect some land yachts one day, but man I gotta do my homework.

Dude , I love Autoworld. They seem so real . And the factory colors are just right on the money
I love the little details they put on the side of the cards too, little pieces of the casting and real cars history

Yes, they are highly detailed models that are perfect representations of the original cars. Great video, thanks for the display show.
And thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed it
Wobbly wheels and stiff wheels don't cut it for me
I like the majority of Round2's lines, JL, AW, and Racing Champions, all realistic (for the most part) and beautiful castings. Nice video!
I've really been wanting to get into JL. I only have 2 so far but haven't seen anything that suits my style while also being available in stores.
the Mark V is absolutely stunning...
It's such a great casting to have on display, just wished they did a Bill Blass version. Dream car right there

Auto world does awesome for the real car model .. very well detailed as well 👍
The detail is amazing for the price, thanks for watching!

That blue 67 Mustang is one of my favorites! I believe it's from a collaboration with Top Gear too

Yep same here. Decided to buy my first batch of Auto World back I think in 2019 and haven't seen any other brand worth the price

Not an AW fan , i have a couple of 2020 Corvettes but other than that the line isnt appealing to me ...
How well do they perform on a Hot-Wheels straight track, say against a hot wheels premium with the real-riders wheels? Awesome collection. 🏁🏴☠️🖤
The Hot Wheels would cook these on a track. But thank you for watching, the collection will continue to grow
I've been lucky enough to find four ultra reds . Do you have any in your collection?

I collect everything Camaro so it doesn't matter what brand/size it is.
Yes!!
They look like 1:76 scale models certainly at the start of the video.
How do you like the brand’s QC? I don’t own any yet but at a glance it seems better than the other Mijo brands save for MiniGt
I'd say my only QC gripe is the tires. It's almost impossible to find a wheel with a decently centered/smooth white line.
