    Besides the Velcro vs lace how does the SGH-210 compare to the new phenom headgear?
    I am mostly interested about fit and feel. Thinking of copping the SHG-210 because of how it looks.
    Respect for the vid

      I never used the 210, I’ve used the 250. I know the 250 has a microfiber type material on the forehead and the 210 doesn’t. They’re similar in shape, but to give an in-depth answer I really can’t. The 250 reminds me a lot of the Winning Fg-2900

    Hey bro, thanks for the review. Have you had a chance to test out the phenom; really hoping to hear what the nose protection is like. Thanks

      I haven't been sparring as much as I use to unfortunately, but from feed back I've received from customers, they headgear is legit and is quickly becoming ppl "go-to" headgear.

    I'm looking at either the phenom shg250 or winning fg2900.
    I currently have the ring to cage clones of the winnings(but want quality that lasts) and love the light weight and super cushionned feel. Really leaves you with less of a headache after a hard sparring sesh.
    How is the phenom padding in comparison to the winnings.
    Are they as soft and absorbant? Cause I feel that's what sets the winning headgear apart from the competition.

      I’d say they’re comprable, winning May feel more broken in from the start, but many of my customers say they really like the shg, especially for the price.

    Thanks bro, I want to see the premium Fly Knight and the Winning Head Guard Cheek Protector. And how they all compare to one another

    Would you recommend the shg 250 looking to get one but was wondering if that's the best out there in the price range? Cheers

    What is the phenom like for nose protection and also vision I have tried the fly on and feel like the side vision is a bit bad and can you feel the weight difference between the phenom and fly?

    • @BOXUPNATION
      @BOXUPNATION  Před 2 lety

      I have to use it to give you a more accurate answer this video was more a less a side by side comparison. I think Fly’s vision is amongst the best, the nose protection for Phenom I’d have to test, and the weight isn’t so vast where I’d say it’ll make that big of a difference it’s only by an oz or 2 so still within reason. The lighter the better obviously, but 12oz 13oz isn’t too bad.

      I have just bought this in medium and large and can’t tell much difference between the fit are leather head guards more likely to stretch or shrink over time ?

    • @BOXUPNATION
      @BOXUPNATION  Před 2 lety

      @@jamesford790 A headgear in general can stretch and break-in although in my experience it's very subtle. I've never experienced a headgear shrinking.

    Unfortunately the L/XL phenom is still quite small. They definitely should have done another size

      @BOXUPNATION  Před 2 lety +1

      They’re very similar in shape and size, but not as light, also uses genuine leather. I’d have to use it in order to give a more in-depth assessment tbh.

  • @wingoreviewsboxingandmma3667

    I bet that Fly Knight X would lose 2 pounds replacing that metal buckle with a plastic clip 🤔
