    Sir, Thank you for this detailed and simple explanation of this maintenance video... I'm a new BX23S Kabota Tractor Owner myself... Again, a well explained and simple video to follow... I like the way you also added the required lubrication for each component and the reason you should use the required/specific brand as not to have any future failures... Great Job my Friend... More to follow... Robin Sr.

    What is the second dipstick for on the BX 2670 engine that’s down lower on the left side of the engine

    Thanks for the video. Quick question -- can I assume that transmission fluid is added (if needed) via the same location as the dipsticks (using a funnel, of course)?

      @averagejoevideo9556  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Sure, no problem! Thanks for watching. Please like and subscribe for more Kubota content. You are correct. Transmission fluid should be added via the same location as the dipstick. Be sure to wipe the area around the dipstick clean from debris prior to removal. This area tends to attract a lot of grime. The last thing you want is dirt falling into the fill port.

    Hi, it’s me again that just left that message about the second dipstick on the left side of the engine. I was mistaken. I wasn’t at my tractor when I left the comment but now that I look, it’s not an extra dipstick but an extra oil fill port.

      @@averagejoevideo9556 well then I guess my question then was what is the second oil fill port for on the engine? It would be hard to add oil to that fill port because you have to take the wraparound cover off to get at it. Is it for the same type of engine oil or is it for something completely different and why doesn’t it have a dipstick to check it?

      @@averagejoevideo9556 well I didn’t really figure anything out, I just corrected my self so you could better understand what I’m talking about. I still don’t know what that second oil port is for. Am I supposed to put engine oil in there or something else and where is the dipstick for checking the level that is in there?

    Just got my bx. There was a hydraulic line loose on the front and it leaked fluid. I tightened the fitting and it’s no longer leaking. What fluid do I check to make sure it’s not too low? It was a line up front to tilt the bucket
