Everybody was ignoring me when I pointed to the fact that the Cowboys got their only touchdown in an entire half against the Lions in their home Stadium on a pass to Ceedee Lamb. That was the last real opponent they faced and needed the refs help to seal that win. I called it that they were far from invincible and could get got.

It would have been PI if the contact had continued any further up the field. The INT happened very close to the 5 yards past the line of scrimmage where that sort of contact is permitted.

Truthfully, even Packer fans were surprised. Expectations weren’t at the top. Why would they be? Love’s first year as a starter, the youngest team in the league. Packer fans were looking for steady improvement. I think we now know a lot more about how talented Love and this packer team is. Let’s remember that Green Bay came close against the 49ers. That’s for those who are willing to be honest.

Going for the touchdown instead of a field goal would have made it much harder for Dallas to create a comeback. Coach LaFleur knew how explosive the Cowboys offense was.
