Many families want to do something like this but are afraid or don´t know that they have the option... When I meet them they have already decided and planned everything at the funeral home... So important to talk about!

I am American but my family is from the Dominican republic & when my grandmother passed we had a home funeral... At first I thought it was unconvential and third world but as i grew older I realized the opportunity and comfort that it brought us as a family. She lived in nyc most of her lice n when she neared death she chose to die in her home on her land & we honored that. This was a beautiful service
