The interception at the start had me stressing as a lions fan
I didn't stress at all until that 2nd half, where I couldn't shake the thought of Love mounting a 24 point comeback. But eventually they righted the ship.
The pick was awful, but seeing the defense force the quick FG was awesome, then before I could really stress the Lions went up 7-3.

The funniest part of all of this was that at the end of the game, the crowd was literally chanting "Let's go Lions!" ...At Lambeau Field.

No lie, when I turned the game on I said to my friends to watch for #7 Walker because he was ejected twice last year for pushing medical staff. I just knew that he would do something stupid late in the game, wasn’t expecting for him to jump and land on the long snapper lol

Oh, as a Chiefs fan I am honest about it, but I would also like to point out that the plays that most people call the refs helping out are not. Like the Super Bowl. That late hit on Mahomes at the end, was a late hit he was well out of bounds when he was hit. However, the PI call for JuJu a few plays earlier was very suspect. He barely even stretched the jersey.

I am a Lions fan. While I don't think dumping a beer on the player is OK, I get it... St Brown did the Lambeau leap. It is showing up the hometeam, it is likely to draw this very thing. Packers fans have been pretty reasonable so far. Yes, the refs still have it out for the Lions, it's just now everybody sees it in primetime (nobody cared when the Lions were playing 1PM regional games).

As a Bears fan I'm just glad David Montgomery's talents are being properly utilized. He scored the same amount of TDs with the Lions in 3 games that he scored with us over the entire season last year. I wish him the best of luck.

Honestly, I was a bit pissed when the Lions didn't re-sign Jamaal Williams, but all that rage left as soon as I found out they were signing Montgomery. Monty is very similar to Williams, but faster, younger, and just better in general. I felt so much better. Then the rage started again when they drafted Gibbs at 12 and traded Swift to the Eagles for a 4TH ROUND PICK!!! Seriously, Holmes? You couldn't squeeze a 3rd out of them? Thankfully, Gibbs looks like he's going to be good, so it's not all bad. Boy do I miss Swift though. I don't miss his injuries. That said, we dominated the division last year, going 5-1 in division play. There's no reason to think we won't win the division by at least 2-3 games this year. It's been a long time coming. Please football gods, don't screw us.

As a Lions fan watching Walker for the Packers makes me think of the Suh years. He would do so well for most of the game then suddenly he’s doing something so bad for the team. He’s gonna be a good player once he gets those bad penalties cleaned up.

@@james_ford86 To be fair, they have the talent on paper. I still feel like they should be better than this, but there are clearly too many problems with this team from the owners to the players. The lions have always had the talent on their team, but they wouldn't play well for like 3-5 minutes, which would always cost them the game. The Bears just aren't playing well as a whole. I didn't think Fields would be an MVP, but I did think that the Bears would be playoff contenders. It's unfortunate that I was wrong, but I still stand by my statements because the roster, on paper, should be a winning team. Also, I'm not sure why you felt the need to reply with such a crude response because I didn't say anything rude or disrespectful to you or anyone for that matter. Does it make you feel better to be rude for no reason?

Well Tom it could have been worse. Branch could have scored an unbelievable touchdown or made an absurd one handed interception. But hopefully his ankle is healed up by week 5.
What couldn't have been worse is the Packers' run defense. Still a long season to go, but we Lions fans are going to really rub this in. We don't know what else to do, this is uncharted territory for us 😅.
