*Notes - Friday Khutba - NAK - -Jan 24* _He Entrusted You_ 1) Example: Have to make sure that we are fulfilling the promise of employees. They entrusted us with the job responsibilities. 2) Example: Children are entrusted by their parents to get the education and study their best. If they are not, they are not just violating their parents' trust but also Allah's trust. 3) Do right by people, even if they are not watching. It applies to family relationship as well. Allah is recording everything. 4) We should do live by the trust that was put by Allah and other people. If you agree to do something, then you are obligated to do it and that is from Allah. If you cannot do it, be honest about it. 5) Displeasing Allah is a bigger problem then hurting someone else. If fear of people is a bigger problem than the fear of Allah then this type of mindset is a type of shirk. 6) Making people happy is a canyon that has no bottom. 7) Amanah is not just a physical thing. Some times people trust you with physical things and sometimes amanah can be applied to rights and responsibilities of other people. 8) Example: someone shared a secret with you. Exposing that secret is violating Allah's command. 9) Amanah of rights and responsibilities are easily crossed and violated. 10) The biggest trust of all is Allah's trust. Allah trusts Muslims to carry Quran and be loyal to Prophet SAW. 11) We may be breaking Allah's trust and we may not see the consequences immediately. Because of that delayed consequences we have started taking Allah's command lightly. 12) Allah is keeping the record of everything and will be rewarded or punished every deed on the day of judgement. Allah does not leave anything big or small unnoticed (no such thing as a secret). Wherever we are Allah is with us. It is a mindset to live by. 13) We are abide by giving people their financial and emotional rights. We have to be honest with them, irrespective of the situation. Some rights are forced down from Allah. 14) In Suran Anfal, O believers do not violate or cheat Allah and his messenger (i.e., do not cheat the trust you have been given and you know what you are doing). When you and I cheat each other, we are actually cheating Allah and his messenger 15) No person on this earth can live without trust and not have any rights and responsibilities.

إِنَّ اللَّـهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تُؤَدُّوا الْأَمَانَاتِ إِلَىٰ أَهْلِهَا وَإِذَا حَكَمْتُم بَيْنَ النَّاسِ أَن تَحْكُمُوا بِالْعَدْلِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ نِعِمَّا يَعِظُكُم بِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ كَانَ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا ﴿٥٨﴾ 4:58 Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَطِيعُوا اللَّـهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنكُمْ ۖ فَإِن تَنَازَعْتُمْ فِي شَيْءٍ فَرُدُّوهُ إِلَى اللَّـهِ وَالرَّسُولِ إِن كُنتُمْ تُؤْمِنُونَ بِاللَّـهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ وَأَحْسَنُ تَأْوِيلًا ﴿٥٩﴾ 4:59 O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.

This is one of the reasons why some of the 2nd generation do not want kids at all. The amount of disrespect, sins and trauma suffering they caused to their own parents They do not want to risk the same hurt by their own offspring
What you are saying may be true but Allah subhana wa ta'ala is the One who grants offspring. So if He grants them to you , there is a Devine reason...so whether they are disrespectful or obedient there is barakat in the children. May Allah bless all of the children, guide them, and spare those that are disrespectful to their parents from punishment in this life and the next Ameen.
I’ve know a lot of people who use permanent birth control and have stated they do not want children at all, all due to their parents neglect and wrong path upbringing. They do not want to continue the cycle of abuse or suffering Some have comeback to deen but don’t want offspring whether it’s a blessing or not
so simple but a beutiful speech it happens with so many people even my uncle even though he had scholar ship so does it count if he has/was given a scholarship
Sir please talk about the right given to her for choosing and making decision for her marriage as this right is given to her by Allah and Prophet peace be upon him but that right is being stolen from her by her family very courageously.

What to do if the action we do is against your parents wishes? But right in the Islamic path?
