4 : 157. அவர்கள் (ஏகஇறைவனை) மறுத்ததாலும், மர்யமின் மீது மிகப் பெரும் அவதூறை அவர்கள் கூறியதாலும், அல்லாஹ்வின் தூதரான மர்யமின் மகன் மஸீஹ்92 எனும் ஈஸாவை நாங்களே கொன்றோம்' என்று அவர்கள் கூறியதாலும் அவரை அவர்கள் கொல்லவில்லை. அவரைச் சிலுவையிலும் அவர்கள் அறையவில்லை. மாறாக அவர்களுக்கு ஆள் மாறாட்டம் செய்யப்பட்டது.456 இதில் முரண்பட்டோர் சந்தேகத்திலேயே உள்ளனர். ஊகத்தைப் பின்பற்றுவதைத் தவிர அவர்களுக்கு இது குறித்து அறிவு இல்லை. அவர்கள் அவரை உறுதியாகக் கொல்லவே இல்லை.
