*TIP* last few years ryobi have run the 12 tools of Christmas promotion - you can buy a starter set with battery, charger and a tool, then get a free battery or other tool/ accessory. I did this and got a bare nailer from amazon at the same sort of time. Worked out really good value 👍🏻

If you ever find in jamming just add a bit of D40 to the part where the pins fire out of. Sometimes it gets a bit gummed up in there.

Note that battery adaptors exist to fit 18V batteries from the major brands of power tools to the Ryobi One+ range.

Mate I have the Makita one, and I'd say you are bang on. For the price (especially if you already have the batteries) that looks like a top little unit. It even has some features the Makita doesn't have like bump-fire, and it is 15-50mm whereas the Makita is 15-35mm. It looks a little larger and the nail magazine a little flimsier but honestly for how darn useful these things are around the shop without the compressor looks like a bargain to me. Good stuff!

Good review Karl, competitively priced, brilliant selling feature it stops fireing before you run out of brads. It's most annoying when you run out, re checking your work and having to fill two sets of holes, expecially if your in a fast paced assembly shop.

The cheap prices of Ryobi have turned my head a few times, but the thought of starting another battery system seems like more trouble that it's worth. Naturally if they were to send me a freebie i'd always give it a go haha! Looks like a great product on reflection, and 200 dollars cheaper than the battery system i'm currently on would be worth a sniff if I could get a battery and charger for cheap enough. Cheers mate

Hi Brian I do think it's good to go for a one stop shop when it comes to battery powered tools so I definitely agree there. I'm a bit mixed bag at the moment but that's down to budget, I'm hoping ryobi will jump on board and supplie me with the full range as I really like their kit😊 oh and ye mate I was in the RDG left in October 15 after 18.5 years. 😊

Good review i tend to use Makita cordless now mainly because of the problems I've had with Ryobi batteries, cells don't last & I've thrown at least 9 out due to charging but then they don't work even though they come up fully charged my Makita batteries are far superior Ryobi batteries quality has put me off their products but I still own a fair amount of their 18v 1+ tool's
