I'm 47. The 80's was my decade as a pre teen and then teen absorbing music. I LOVE how that sound, although more technologically advanced now has done the loop and is being made by progressive and contemporary artists. This is a fucking awesome tune. Peace out. X

This is a great song, but for me it misses the last 5-10% of exaltation to be perfect. Georgia needs just to improve the arrangement (i.e. the beat is too weak) to get the 100. Just listen to Moby "Lift me up" or Alphaville "Universal Daddy" and hear the difference in the beat. Those are perfect arrangements.

And when she intones 'stay while' twice in the verses, I can't help thinking of that great song called that by the wonderful Kim Wilde from her superlative 1983 album "Catch As Catch Can". Few people can go anywhere near the great multi-faceted approach has to songs or voice, but that's no real reason not to try. 80s is the only way to go. No wonder so many do it-even if only a few can do it properly. You're right, her voice is quite like Robyn, but more maturer, but the real test comes with her next song and then an album. Can this girl keep pulling it out of the bag the way those 80s greats did and still do?

Ladyhawke amazes us all by not only coming out of a scene full of nothing but autotuned sluts and howling fishwife harridans about bullshit gushy love ballad crap, but she actually intones a Kim Wilde feel to a few songs and sound, and hardly anyone can do that. I'm interested to see if Georgia can keep pulling off a good enough sound to be an albums person. This song is certainly one hell of a start.

The 80's sound of this gem is just priceless and brings so much emotions for us who had been around as a pre-puberty teens and 11, 12 year olds and used to get lost in songs sounding just like this one blasting from the radio after we got home from school with a latch key before our folks returned from work and put a stop to our frolicking!
